I made numerous phone calls but to no avail. My husband and I did a lot of frustrating research for a new reliable weed eater. We went to our "local" Ace Hardware. We were disappointed in their selection. The person assisting us said he used one brand of weed eater at the store and another at home. He didn't give me a great deal of confidence. We went to the Ace Hardware in Laurel, MT. I insisted we open the box and look at the manuals. The clerk helping us called Rodney to help us. I felt Rodney was very knowledgeable about his product and went way over and beyond to help us. I can't say enough good things about Rodney.

Purchased a battery powered weed trimmer after being assured by rep it would do the job. Lasted 15…read moreminutes. Tried to take it back and they insisted it wasn't their problem. Sent to their repair shop and they couldn't fix and insisted it wasn't their problem. After several hours on the phone with the manufacturer sounds like I "may" have a replacement coming. My suggestion is anything over say $25 bucks buy from Home Depot or Costco as they honor returns with zero hassle. I will do my best to not support this store going forward.

I have often found specialized parts there enough that I stop here before I go to a more specific warehouse. I have found the staff to be friendly, knowledgeable and professional at all times. I have witnessed their customer service with others and they are fair and consistent. I also shop there for my personal repairs and find that if they dont have it they can order it or they can pull from other stores in the area.
