It's probably been a year since I've been to the CAM and I hate that my daughter wasn't as enthusiastic about taking the time to weave in and out of the MANY renters booths to browse this packed mall. There is lots to see, although not always priced to sell without a lot of consideration. However, in the short time that I was there, I did find a thing or two to keep the antique nut in me happy. On a less than positive note...SERVICE! My career is in the people business. And I expect no less from others, who are in the people business too. Customer service comes with a smile, a pleasant greeting and ZERO glaringly obvious suspicion that someone has come to do the CAM harm. Not everyone customer will look like you, but GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE is due EVERYONE that walks through your door!! I have had a lifetime of ignoring bad behavior, but calling it out when it distracts from what I enjoy, antiquing, I will. Do better! Because I LOVE ANTIQUES! And it upsets me to avoid a very nice establishment, because of bad behaviors. Again I say, DO BETTER!! I will be back. I found some cool cards and sheet music. And I want more. read more

Was highly recommended by someone who knows antiques! boy were they right. one of the best antiques stores Ive ever been in. they have a huge selection from every decade in the past 60 years at least. i found exactly what i needed (and then some) for an upcoming wedding. i will definitely be back every time Im in the area. the prices were very fair considering the kind of merchandise. the owners of the business were so helpful when i showed them a picture of what i wanted they came out and helped me comb the shelves until we found the perfect items for my daughters wedding. they really were interested in giving me the kind of service that these days is impossible to find in most places. read more

This place is massive. There are several sections with so many small figurines and glass pieces. There were a lot of cool vintage items, some quilts, books, and other things. The employees were offering to help multiple times. There wasn't anything that really fit my vibe but still, it's a fun walk through a store and if you're in the market for those types of vintage trinkets you'll be very happy to visit. read more

This is at least my second visit to this antique mall. Comfort used to have many cute little antiques and vintage shops and they seem to have all moved to the mall plus some. This mall is full of dealers but much of the stuff is locked in glass cases with tags turned so prices are not displayed. So one of the friendly employee dealers on duty has to get a key and unlock the case. They must have lots of theft and breakage. It pretty much put the kibosh on any impulse buys. These vendors know what they have and price accordingly plus some to take advantage of the tourist trade. One vendor had 2 of the same item and one was marked twice as much as the other. I asked her why the two vastly different prices and she said she paid more for one of them. Now if I wanted to buy one, she might pull out the one that she marked $125 and not the one she priced at $69. This means the items are not priced by what they are worth, because I paid $40 for the same exact item elsewhere. So do what you want with that information. I was interested in particular vintage pottery items and several vendors had them but the prices were way out of the range I was looking to pay. One of the ladies ofered $20 off an item I particularly liked, and it was still at least $10 over my max price. Was it worth it? Not to me even though I try not to give up an item with a $10 difference. It just seemed like it was so overpriced to begin with. Hopefully I won't regret it. It was raining cats and dogs when we were in this business and I got distracted enough by the potential flood that I neglected to get inside photos. I ended up spending over $100 on I hardly recall what. Little items add up. I will shop here again happily but I will be wary of those prices especially those glass case items. read more

We had family visiting from out of town and were looking for something to do and decided to take a road trip to Comfort and check out the Antiques. We all thought this place was awesome and had a little bit of everything for everyone. Most of the stuff was a little overpriced, but what place isn't these days. All of these "picker" shows have ruined it for all of us. Anyway, cool place, would definitely go back. read more

I would give 0 stars if possible. The lady at the register is unprofessional and rude. My 5 year-old niece knocked on the front door when she saw her mom inside and the lady said 'if she breaks that door, I will sue her'. If you are a miserable shrew, you shouldn't be working with customers. Or anyone for that matter. Completely inappropriate and unnecessary. read more

Extremely rude staff. I'm an author from NYC who was visiting friends here and came in looking for something for an upcoming performance I was giving at the Met Opera (again, I was waited to bring back something all the way to NYC because I love supporting local vintage stores). No one offered to help me and the ladies at the register looked me up and down but didn't say one word. I don't know if I'll ever be in Comfort again, but unless you look *local* to the area (if you catch my drift), don't expect to be helped. Found a few vintage pieces (including a Maison Margiela find!) in vintage stores in Austin if you're will to make the drive. In retrospect, the place is full of overpriced junk, so CAM saved me time and energy! read more

Located in Comfort Texas not Ingram Tx. This is a nice stop we always do on our way to Fredericksburg Texas. Walk around and look at the many booths with interesting items including western, books, dishes and jewelry and nick nacks. There is a clean bathroom. The shop was being run by a couple who were very friendly and said they had a booth there. read more

Huge mall, great selection, awesome prices. This antique mall is huge and offeres a variety of items from many different venders. You'll find furniture, jewelry, toys, clothes, hats, dishes and other trinkets. Most of the prices I saw were reasonable. I bought 3 pieces of furniture (loveseat, chair & rocker) for $750. A friend bought a hand crocheted shirt and skirt set for $25. They had lots of small tables for $100 - $150. There's also a clean bathroom and $0.50 drinks. read more
