Had seen this place next to Name Brand Exchange since early 2000 - never walked in until early February of this year....changed my life/well-being --- then COVID hit --- during lock down, somehow badly tweeked a muscle in my back --- by 3rd week, so much pain, called & they had just re-opened week before. I went 3 weeks in a row & the relief was...no words......I have been going every 2 weeks now since....AMY is amazing & medicinal & knows the human body. I love this place! No frills and reasonably priced. I got a 30 min foot 30 min body massage for $40. I feel so much better after my massage. I pinched a nerve and was seeking some relief, but instead I feel like brand new. The rooms lack privacy, which isn't a big deal for me but to some it may not be best. Took my fiancée here for his birthday to get rid of knots and relax his muscles. He works in a very hot and always busy kitchen, and is always sore and tired from work. The women here at Comfort Foot were very sweet and quick to take him right back - no appointment needed! He went back for a 60 minute body massage. When I came to pick him up I was offered water while waiting for him to finish. When he came out, he looked sleepy and incredibly relaxed. When I asked him how it was, he said that though certain spots hurt because of the knots that had built up, after those spots were worked through, it felt amazing. This is my go to spot for getting a VERY GOOD massage! I've never had to wait. The boss lady i haven't asked her name but she knows exactly what is that i like she always see's me right away. I have arthritis in my feet, so i always get 30 minutes feet, 15 minutes body! She puts her back into in every time and i leave refreshed. this is the best massage place in the 5 cities i have lived in. I have wasted money at other spots around phoenix. they have 3 levels of strengths if your prefer strong massage they have a guy, the boss lady is the middle firmness and the other lady that is usually in the back has the lightest touch. All give great massages been going here about 2 years now pretty consistent. The foot massage will rejuvenate your entire lower body but i definetly recommend if your on your feet at work. Let me try to shed light to the mix reviews. We have come to this place multiple times but today would be our last. This will be a long review, so please share me your 5 minutes, so I can save you some pain, discomfort, disgust and money. Okay, I was gonna make a open letter to the owner but I couldn't find a email or a link to message her/him anywhere. As I said we have experienced the place multiple times. So I wanted to give them chances to improve, but today was the last chance. We went in, and right away I felt something was off. First, the AC is either off or they are cutting the use of it. It was hotter inside, since the moment we walked in, it felt like the car's AC was colder than what they have in there. They don't have ceiling fans, so the air on the massage rooms are really trapped. I was sweating while waiting for the ladies to come do their massages to us. Yes, I was sweating too when my foot was being massage. Second, we often get the 30 minutes body 30 minute feet. Let me be clear, we have been to other places around arizona proper, but since the good one's are so far away, we always give the one near us chances to be the place for relaxation, and this one is really near us. Speaking of relaxation the second problem we had today is ambiance, totally lacking. With multiple experience from other cities and here in the valley. I presume that all the reflexology places do play something that's soothing. This place doesnt. I heard every door opened, every bell that was made when someone walked in, every moan, grunt and sigh that other customers are having while their having their massage, and even the talking of the staff takes away from the experience. The lights are way too bright too. I don't think any of this creates a relaxing environment for anyone. I mean come on, I can hear the sounds of neighboring business! Please keep reading, it gets really interesting soon. Next on the line of the problem at hand, Understaffing. We were greeted by a lady at the desk, then that lady started massaging me, but no one was massaging my girlfriend. After 10 minutes of massage on my head, she jump to my girlfriend side and started massaging her head. That is very unusual, believe me; if you go as a couple they massage you at the same time. For 15 minutes this happened and finally when the other group in the other room finished with their massages, a lady from that group came and started massaging the gf individually. I don't believe that the lady who greeted us should have started without another staff, more over we booked this in advanced. There should have been 2 people waiting for us to come in. And we came on time. It's not like we just walked in. I hope your still reading because we are not even half way. So go ahead and take a sip of tea or cola. Here comes the worst part. 4th problem which is related to them being under staff. Remember the 2nd lady who came and helped the first lady? Well she acted as a secretary the whole time. For the entire 1 hour massage she stood up to greet new incoming customers, ushered them to their rooms, answered phones, and even entertained a customer who came by to inquire about the establishment. While All of this is happening, my Gf is left laying and our time being wasted, this is on top of the time wasted by having only 1 staff massaging us instead of 2. Yet everything pales to this one and Probably the most DISGUSTING part of our massage today is that the lady would walk out and walk in without even using a alcohol gel, or going to the restroom to wash her hand. All straight from the phone handle to my Gf skin. We are no way near being rude. I wanted to walk out but this was my GF treat for me to relax for the weekend. I tried my best to enjoy the massage. To atleast get the best out of it. We paid full price and even gave them a tip. It was probably not a good idea to give them a tip, but in the end of the day people have to pay bills. And again, I didn't want to drop this review without trying to contact the owner to give them a chance to address the problems since alot of my friends do still go there. But even them confirmed the declining service. I don't want to get anyone in trouble that's why there was no names here. I believe the place has some good people, but for now it's just not the place for us. I wish your still reading. This will be the last paragraph. And thank you for reading. Maybe this will help someone decide if they want to try or not, or maybe gives the owner a chance to improve the business. P.S I don't think the owner read or cares about reviews. My two sisters and I decided we wanted a massage on Saturday evening. The only day we had free was Monday. My sister started calling to see if anywhere had appointments for three available at such short notice. She called Comfort Foot and asked but was told only for two, so she hung up. Moments later they called back that they could accommodate us after all. We were expecting just a foot massage ( from the name) but we're offered 30-90 minutes on our choice of areas. We all picked 30 minutes back and 30 minutes feet. When we walked into the room they had added an extra spot to the room so we could all be together. The massage was relaxing and delightful. They even included the hot rock massage. I'm not used to getting massages and would probably have been nervous to get this but thoroughly enjoyed it. They used oil and lotion, all unscented which was perfect as I am sensitive to perfumes. The man who worked on my feet was very gentle as I requested since I had some swelling in them. We enjoyed the quiet to begin with but during the foot part had some fun conversation As my sister had taught English in China and knew the area one lady was from. This isn't a glamour spot but it was very clean, calm and comfortable.The only difficulty was occasional communication problems, especially over the phone. I'm from Los Angeles and there are places like this everywhere. I figured I'd give these guys a try but was overall disappointed. I was rushed to make a decision on massage (they have a few options and it was my first time). My massage was very inconsistent as far as pressure goes and half the time I did not feel like I was getting massaged rather than having lotion rubbed on my arms and back. Needless to say, it left me feeling the same, if not worse, than I did going in. The man who charged me seemed very upset that I was not leaving a tip and said something in his language in a harsh tone as I handed him the signed receipt and walked away. The pressure was good and she really worked on my trouble spots without having to say anything. I left completely relaxed. Would have liked some background music however there was the pleasant sound of a fountain and the quality of the massage definitely made up for any missing frills. Amazingly strong and friendly service. I mean seriously some of the strongest masseuses out there. I've had my fair share of massages and I would say hands down the best here and even better than some So Cal joints. When you ask for deep tissue, you get deep tissue and no cutting corners! The foot soak wasn't very long which is fine with me and my therapist started off slow so I thought, man, not another newbie, but then wham....he socked it to me. It hurt like hell but felt good at the same time. I put my earbuds in and listened to some music on my ipod and just let the foot reflexology commence. It was heaven and my guy really knew the points to hit. The best thing about this experience was how great I felt afterward! The only bad thing, if I have to give one, is it is a wee bit warm in there. If you want a cheap foot and back rub, you've found the best little secret in town! For $30, you get a bottl *e of water, a 70 mins full body massage called Happy Hour . Yep, that's a minute rub down for less than a price of pizza at Compania!!!! Very professional, clean massage. Guys should wear gym shorts as they do not have you fully undress for the massage. Great pressure and the masseuse worked every knot in my back to its death. I'm from China and I've been given lots of massage at home and in California. This place is simply THE best in southwest USA.

I didn't finish the service. The technician kept hurting me. I asked 4 times for him to be more gentle and not to repeat the same stroke in the same place more than a few times. I was informed the stroke had to be repeated 8 times or it wouldn't work. I had a bruise on my shin the following morning. While I admit to being a bit of a wimp, when the customer asks you to quite pushing so hard because it is hurting, they should adjust. I left less than 10 minutes after I arrived. read more
