Many of their selections are different from traditional massages so they make sure that you understand what you're choosing. My masseuse brought me to the gates of heaven and flew me into the clouds with God. Because of her, I frequent only this place for massages. However, I only choose to stay here for her. She's so good that the other issues don't seem to matter at the time being, but unfortunately every time I've had her she's had a strong smell of cigarettes and often coughs during my sessions. You can hear the other people who work in the back room during the massage. During your massage, someone else comes in to offer you add-ons. It'd be nice to relax straight through a massage but this happens every session. Even though the front desk tells me they know, I still always say I only want a female masseuse which should make it known I do not want a man in my room. During my most recent massage, a man came in while I was fully undressed on the massage table asking me if I want to add the hot stones to my massage and I was so uncomfortable. I didn't know what to do. It's not like I can get up and put clothes back on when he's already in the room. Please be respectful of your customers' preferences. read more

First, I want to say that the masseurs were incredible. Everything was amazing in that regard. However, I won't be returning. Our 2 hour couples massage went from $310, because the front desk guy kept upselling us, like coming into the massage rooms during the massage, which is absolutely insane. For one, it's creepy, it made me feel extremely uncomfortable, I always request women masseuses because I was molested by a male masseuse at age 14. For two, it's predatory. People in a relaxed state are more prone to agreement, which I've seen actual legal contracts be voided for. We also were not given pricing for this ridiculous add ons, and we were not warned of the effects of cupping. We have bruises up and down our backs. Anyways our massage was $200 more than we agreed to during the initial booking at the front desk. Can't recommend this place in good conscience. I will likely be doing a chargeback or filing a dispute or a complaint with the licensing board. Massage rooms should be a safe place. These are not. read more

I've had over a dozen massages here, and every one before tonight has been 10/10, which is why this experience was disappointing. Tonight, I paid for multiple add-ons and upgrades that I didn't fully receive. My upper back and neck were addressed, but my arms and hands were barely worked on, even though that's why I booked extra time.(I'm a sculpting facialist with carpal tunnel and arthritis) During the ion detox, it showed arthritis/arteries, and the arm strap felt uncomfortably tight, so I had to loosen it and point it out because it was uncomfortable. This is usually the best place for cupping on my back, but this time the cups didn't maintain suction well and I didn't have the marks I normally do, which was disappointing. During the hot stone portion, one of the stones was too hot and I said so at the time, and I noticed when I looked at my back in the mirror a visible red mark on my back where it felt spicy hot. :( read more

The walls aren't soundproof, so if that's gonna bother you, this place isn't for you. The rooms also don't have doors, they're partitioned with curtains, so there's that to consider as well. The value for what you get is pretty spot on. I love that you can tell them when you check in what kind of massage you want, deep pressure, medium, etc. Today I opted for a range between medium and deep. I was in need of some R&R, so I scheduled a foot reflexology appointment at Thai Luxury in Mesa. I was able to call and book an appointment with no issues. The spa was very clean, quiet, and there's parking out front. I booked a 60min foot reflexology massage for $50. I want to first preface that my massage therapist was nice. However, the reason I am giving this 3 stars is because I feel as if my massage therapist smoked a cigarette before providing the service. She was also coughing over me majority of the time while giving the massage. The receptionist told me that I was to receive a 15min scalp and shoulder massage, which is how things started. The excessive coughing without covering her mouth wasn't the best experience. On top of that, she only ended up massaging my feet for about 30 minutes. She spent the last 15 minutes giving me a back, neck, and shoulder massage. I am not one to complain, but this was not the service I was expecting. I thought the primary focus would be foot reflexology. The pressure of the massage was good, and I was relaxed. As I entered Kevin was at the desk and greeted me right away and was very nice, he offered me additional services but I started with just the foot massage Keven took me back to my room and I was greeted by Linda she was very nice she had me lay down and covered my eyes and made sure I was comfortable. She began my foot massage and asked if the pressure was good and I let her know I needed less pressure on my legs. And she happily adjusted it. I wish she spent more time on my feet and less on my calf's. When Linda was done with my feet, she asked if I wanted a massage and I did want just a shoulder massage so she went and got Kevin for pricing and he gave me a 15 minute shoulder massage for $20 and I upgraded my foot massage with the hot stones for $10 And boy did I need that shoulder massage she found knots that I didn't know. I had And one of them would not go away, no matter how hard she worked on it. She was a trooper. She was very professional and thorough and I appreciated that after she was done, I went out to the front desk. Kevin met me there with a bottle of water and a reflexology roller ball for your face as a gift and he gave me a punchcard for the extra fees that I paid today to come back for another one, and I will definitely be back. Had a group massage here with my mom and sister. We arrived about 15 mins early and we waited in the waiting area. A cold water bottle was offered to us and we were shown where the bathrooms were. The front desk employee was very friendly and welcoming. Once it was our time, we were escorted into a decent sized room with three beds. We all opted for the Swedish massage and we laid face down when ready. A few minutes later, the three employees walked in and said hello. We had two males and one female. When face down, the towel around my face that covered the table had a funky moldy smell which I did not like... The massage started out great and with perfect pressure. The temperature was perfect, the lighting was calming, and the music was relaxing. I knew it was gonna be a great one! Halfway through my massage, as I was more asleep then awake, the worker asked me if I wanted to add hot stones and I kindly declined. He asked me again like 4x after that which I thought was a little too excessive because I had already told him NO. He then offered 3x to do an extra 30 minutes on my back to which I said no again. At this point, I was no longer relaxed but super annoyed that he asked me over and over again to add extra services. This also happened to my mom and sister. My mom was easily convinced, so they ended up adding hot stones to her massage at an additional cost.... The massage lasted an hour but I couldn't relax after I was rudely awakened mid massage.. The workers giggled every time we said no thank you which I didn't think was funny and made it uncomfortable as I laid there. There wasn't any relaxing music but during our massage they spoke mandarin the whole time. However, Linda who worked on me did an amazing job. Super honesty time, I would not recommend anything longer than 30 minutes to any woman pregnant over your second trimester. KEVIN WAS AMAZING and I was so excited for my reflexology massage today. He did amazing and did what he could to make me comfortable, however, as AMAZING as my massage was (and it was EXACTLY what I had wanted) it is a lie down experience and even with the bed tilted all the way up, super uncomfortable. Even with an appointment I stilled waited a little bit, but again he tried to make me super comfortable. They are extremely convenient for walk ins, as 3 people came in at the same time as me and we all were put in rooms pretty immediately. Clean, not too hot or too cold and very relaxing. But the most amazing part is the cost. You won't find this at the resorts who overcharge and can't do a true deep tissue massage. Thai Luxury is located in the same plaza as Hmart and next to Cha Tea. Big free parking lot but you know on weekends that lot is freaking packed so plan accordingly if you go on a weekend. I went on a Thursday afternoon so no problemo with finding parking. The lobby is nicely decorated and I was greeted warmly by the woman at the front desk when I walked in. She checked me in and showed me to my massage room. It was very quiet as I was the only customer there. All the rooms looked nicely decorated. I got the 30 min Thai Luxury massage- you keep your clothes on, lay face down on the table and the masseuse works only on your back, booty and back of your legs. He also did a little work on my neck and shoulders. I enjoyed the massage so I wish I had more time to have it extended! Since there are only curtains dividing the treatment rooms from the main hall and other treatment rooms, I wonder about the noise level when it is a busy day? Hilton was the therapist today , and he was amazing. He checked in with me during the massage to make sure I was okay. I also got a cupping treatment for my shoulder tension, and that was icing on the massage cake. He recommended doing a massage after a Thai yoga session for extra measure, and I think that's a great idea to consider for my next visit, I do plan on returning. My only peeve was he repeated his sales pitch several times too many, which dampened the present moment of my Thai yoga and cupping. Be prepared to have your personal space thoroughly invaded during a Thai yoga session. The therapist will sometimes be seated in between your legs, or push and step on you with their feet. Wear comfortable clothing, leggings or joggers would be good. Thai Yoga really challenges you to be relaxed yet engaged and present for the session. Focus on your breath as the therapist massages and assists in mobility movements. If you've never tried either, I do recommend it! read more
