Elena and her staff have taken excellent care of her from day one. It is clear that Elena and the staff care a great deal about the residents they care for and do an excellent job. What appealed to me from the fist step I took in the home is how clean, orderly, spacious and pleasant it is. I knew that my mom would like it. She is looking much healthier and happier since she has been there. I come by for quick visits and have also brought my brother and sister and their families for visits and each time we feel welcome. A Nurse Practitioner visits monthly and he and Elena are open to discussing my mom's health needs and taking a team approach to dealing with them. Elena makes excellent suggestions - and follows up on them. They also have a hair stylist visit and provide nail care. All of this means a great deal to me. My prayers were answered when I found this amazing place for my mom to live and be cared for.

Elena is amazing, genuinely caring and engaged in providing respectful and effective home care to our elders. She has hired incredible staff. Every time I visit they are moving around either spending time with the residents, providing care or cleaning. The care providers seem happy which means to me that they are being treated well and supported. My mom and dad get a better ratio of care providers compared to a skilled nursing facility and it is more cost effective and feels like they are home. I researched adult family homes and the five star ratings here are justified. Elena's communication is fabulous. She had a team of great care providers. She and her team treat my parents with the respect they deserve having survived 80 years of age and 57 years of marriage. Elena is very open to individual needs and preferences. My mom gets a personal bed bath every day and has not looked better in the past few years. My sister and I are so relieved and grateful. We are always welcomed into the house and Elena has been responsive to all communications. A++++++++.

I was so traumatized by this that I opted to go without care for a period of time. I covered all of this with the office manager who was very supportive and reassuring. ...Until I tried to go back. The office manager's phone was on permanent voicemail requesting that I call an alternate number, at which point I was told I had to jump through hoops. When I questioned this, I was told, very coldly, that it was "company policy." Shabby, shoddy, unprofessional treatment.

There is 1 nurse on the night shift which is very grouchy and rude. She gets off at 10:30pm and i called to be changed and she said "Your couldn't wait for 10 minutes to push your button. Excuse me if I dont know your schedule and I can't control my bowels. Maybe she shouldn't be taking care of elderly patients.

I am allergic to most perfume, so discussed it with the supervisor. She apparently thought I was the only person who was reactive and did nothing. A couple of days later, I smelled her wearing perfume. I was also disappointed there was no decaff coffee. I can't be the only one with high blood pressure. It seems that a healthcare facility should always have decaff for patients.

We were coming from out of town and I wanted to be sure he had the support he needed since I had to leave early for the wedding activities. It was very hard to find an agency that would agree to do a single day appointment. Tanya did the intake interview and really connected with us over Zoom. Her communication skills were excellent and she provided his care the day of the wedding. She was timely, kept me informed via text, and made sure everything was organized. While I was there I noticed his call button go unanswered so I brought it to their attention. While I was there - they were fine - as soon as I left they started ignoring again. Things are just in such disrepair that he needs to call for assistance. The remote on his bed doesn't work. The toilet seat slides off the bowl... then there are the two screaming men across the hall. It's terrifying for anyone to listen to that. I just want them to fix their things, and answer The call buttons. I know patients abuse it, but in this case he got hurt because of the neglect.

They constantly ignore the call button and blatantly ignore the residents. They're on their phones constantly and have such an attitude! It was so heartbreaking when I overheard one of the nurses tell a plus sized patient that she is disgusting because of her size. On top of that she refused to help her get dressed because she could "do it herself". She had then apologized but only because I had informed one of the managers. It's sad to see almost all the residents being treated like they're animals. Tell me, would you feel comfortable seeing so many residents being yelled at and talked about as if they're not in the room? As if they aren't a human being? They place has now changed ceos or top managers I'm not sure, and I can tell they want the place to change for the better but like I have stated before, the nurses there do not care about the residents. I tried my best to help residents in any way I could even though it wasn't my job. Most of the residents would not receive their correct food which was such a big issue because of food allergies and difficulties with solid food. There has been many times where patients wouldn't get their food at all! And the nurses would refuse to get them what they asked or get their correct food. There needs to be more activities for residents who cannot attend in person groups! It's sad when I would walk by rooms and patients would be staring out the window because they were tired of watching tv all day. I can tell the activity department only liked the residents who were able to attend the group in person. There is so many residents who would complain to me about not being included! Lastly, I advise if you do send your loved ones here to keep in contact with them to find out what goes on. There has been so many times where staff just like to do whatever they want when visitors aren't around.
