Only a nurse case manager who was not very helpful with very poor manners. My MIL is elderly with TTWB and they are sending her home. The OT said she needed assisted living but never came to the room to discuss recs with family. My husband had to ask for education and training before discharge. She should NOT BE going home. Sadly I will never recommend this facility to anyone. I'm glad I work for Froedtert! Do better RHOW.

The Nurse said the Doctor would meet and give us a review of my family members condition before they discharged them. But the Doctor could not be bothered and just ignored us. The issues and lack of care kept mounting daily. They left our family member to sit in their own urine for four hours and wouldn't check them. UNLESS WE ASKED!! We had to stay with our family member 9 hours a day to make sure care was being given. They say they care but could not deliver! Then they send out a standard response asking to be contacted, so they can get the post removed. But when things where happening and we brought up the concerns. They met with us said they take these things seriously but then brushed off our concerns not following up at the time or even a few days later while our family member was still there.

First, parking is close and easy. Usually you can stay very close to the door. Second, the facility is small and check-in is fast and friendly and the waiting area is immediately accessible. They have a coffee machine, a table or two and standard chairs and couches for family and patients. There's also a TV and a monitor which tracks patient progress through their procedure for any waiting family or friends not inside with the patient. The interior waiting areas for patients having a procedure are standard hospital bays, with no doors, curtain access, but a recliner chair for companions or family members where they can stay throughout if they prefer. The privacy is perhaps minimal, but the access for the care time is easy and open. Every team member I've encountered here has been great - friendly, comforting, and this is important, they all seem to make a personal connection - even if it's small, that makes you feel seen as an individual. Happily, the surgical teams have also done great work on my visits. I am definitely loyal to this system Great care. Made comfortable,

Healthcare can be a very personal thing. So many thing that affect your experience including the…read moredoctors, nurses, receptionists, and even the parking. The Froedtert/Medical College is a massive organization and complex, so this is a very limited review of one area, which is the Center for Advanced Care, and specifically the Ear Nose and Throat Clinic. Been coming here for several years, and have always been impressed with the level of professionalism, and care. Especially the staff that work with Dr. David Poetker. Would recommend them to others that are struggling with ENT issues. Once you are in the proper parking structure, it's a quick ride up to the 5th floor. Get off the elevator and go east. There is nice signage that will get you where you need to go. Good luck with your treatment :)
