Coffee in the lobby 24/7! Get to our room & it is very nice & comfy!! Small fridge, microwave, Keurig & coffee supplies. Nice little set up & plenty of storage. Our view from room 220 was great- watched folks coming & going, the flags felt patriotic, landscaping looks lush. Walmart & other shops are walking distance away. We have 3 more years visiting Milly with our GCSU student. Will book here every time!!! Safe travels, friends!!

When visiting Milledgeville Holiday Inn is my go to hotel for it's friendly staff, nice sized rooms, cleanliness, and affordability. As soon as I walk in I am greeted by the front desk staff and checked in quickly. I'm then able to walk through a clean hotel, get in a clean elevator, and head to my clean comfy room. I have never had an issue with the cleanliness or comfort here. The room offers convenience of a decent sized television, USB ports, desk, etc. The bathroom is stocked with soap, shampoo, towels, and other conveniences. Location can't be beat either. It is situated in walking distance to shopping and dining; or just a short drive downtown or to the lake.

VERY tricky driveway- one way in & one way out & I don't think there is a traffic light. Stay safe!!! We checked in quick with the front desk, not overly friendly, but certainly not rude. Got the job done! We grabbed a complimentary oatmeal cream pie & headed up to the 3rd floor. Let me also say the lobby was clean & quiet, dining tables for breakfast served each morning, a snack area to purchase snacks that was nicely set up. They have complimentary iced water/cups for thirty travelers front & center too. Ok, got to the room; 2 queens. Immediately our daughter said it smelled funny. It wasn't the freshest smelling room, but didn't bother us so much we left. Beds were fresh & FLUFFY! Small TV, microwave & fridge available. Bathroom was nice, but the shower curtain (no pic) was jacked up. Instead of getting a new one, this was rigged to stay up... unable to close or open the curtain to shower, but kept the majority of water off the floor. Breakfast was just OK. I didn't eat, as it didn't look appealing to get in there. Breads & bagels in ZIP LOCK bags that tells me someone had to touch them, place them in a bag, zip it up & put them on the buffet. I get why, but not the prettiest display. Cerials, coffees, eggs/meat... typical small complimentary fair. Not sure I would stay here again as my forst choice, but certainly not a bad stay!! Don't be discouraged, at all. I just maybe expected more from this brand hotel. Safe Travels!!!

The Fairfield Inn is very clean and spacious. Everything looked updated and fresh. The beds were comfortable and the hotel staff is very friendly. The location is perfect....near all three colleges, Lake Sinclair and the Walter Williams Recreation Park.

The owners celebrated Christmas w/ visiting family staying there and treated us like family also. We wanted for nothing. Full bar, snacks, coffee and tea available. Our King size suite of rooms was more than ample for luxury, space and terrific a respite. Gas remote fireplace set the scene as well as two recliners allowing us to get cozy. The King bed was very comfortable we both Rested well. The Hot Shower was a call back to sixties when showers were full force and made ya want to stay awhile. Not like the regulators and low pressure of today's. We loved our Holiday, The Inn and Family exuded Hospitality. We will return.

It was so spacious. The bedroom was large with enough room for a table and two chairs. There was a library that had wooden panel walls that looked like a ship. Very elegant and manly. My husband would love this room. There is a cute dressing area and a private bathroom. There are sooo many places to hang out. There are lots of interior sitting areas. We sat two evening on the front porch in rocking chairs. There is even a pool and a balcony overlooking it. The kitchen is huge with lots of drinks and snacks. There is a full bar with wine and beer also. You can get what you want and just pay for it on a square system. The owner stopped by twice and said hello. He's super nice. He owns a local breakfast spot and you get breakfast free there including drinks with your stay. It's located a few blocks from downtown and all the action. We can't wait to go back.

So, for me being new to the area, I like it. Because of the king size bed, lounge chair, writing desk, dresser, mini-fridge and night stand, there's not a whole lot of walking around space. And, despite some chipped paint, the room and bed are very clean. The bed is very comfortable. While the tub & shower is very clean, the caulking around the base of the tub, and the grout of the tile flooring could stand a good scrubbing. The water is hot, and plentiful. And, even though my room was around the corner from the stairwell, the noise from there, people walking by, and traffic wasn't too bad at all. The WiFi, despite being password protected, is unsecured. :-( The breakfast is the traditional Continental type with waffles, and yogurt added. Overall though, a great stay at a fantastic price. If needed, I wouldn't mind having an extended stay here (though, I'd have to go out for breakfast sometimes).

The entire room was filled with cockroaches. I killed half a dozen. On the way to work we had called the front desk. The employee told me to call back at 8:30am when the manager arrives. The "managers" are the owners. We called back at 9am and as soon as i say the word cockroach, the manager wouldn't even let another word in before hanging up, we called back again, and the same thing. After work i went to the front desk to cancel the second night and ask for a refund - for just the second night -which i do not think is unreasonable given the circumstances. I get every excuse in the book starting with "well since you didn't cancel before 11am i cant do anything." Upon showing him the call logs and then mentioning i had called to cancel earlier due to cockroaches but had gotten hung up on, and only want a refund for the night im not staying there, he then tells me there is nothing he can do but offer me another room. I have never written a bad review in my entire life, and i'm not one to complain about much, but this place is complete trash. I dont think its unreasonable to not want to sleep with cockroaches but apparently the staff and owners do. Everything Is trash, from the rude unhelpful staff, and the extremely useless rude owners, to the room, and the cockroach infestation problems. Stay far away. Fuck this place.
