He said that is the cause of the snow melt getting into the basement and recommended landscaping vice foundation work. This would be a huge saving for me as the foundation work would be tens of thousands of dollars. It was only a matter of time before it would crumble completely. Time to get it repaired. Unfortunately it was too far gone for a repair so a complete tear-down and rebuild was necessary. I received a few bids but I leaned towards Tony because of his positive reviews on several review sites. That and the fact that his bid was very competitive. Also, TK Mason did not ask for a percentage of the payment to accompany the signed contract. Some companies require a payment up front before the work begins and the remainder of the payment due at the end of the job. This was the deciding factor for me. There were a few delays, thanks to our rainy Spring weather but once a clear day was forecast, Tony's guys showed up and started work. They worked on my chimney all day, ripping out the old one and building a complete new structure. Their attention to detail was impressive and their brickwork expertise definitely showed on the finished product. They cleaned up nicely and left me with a chimney that will most likely outlast the rest of the house. I've posted a photo of the chimney taken while our roof was being replaced.

The project took three days with a team of approximately seven workers led by project manager, Mike. Mike did a fine job communicating. While anticipating a messy job, it was far more disruptive than we had anticipated . The morning the project began, we were asked to sign off on any damages to our home that might occur. We were taken aback by this request. Red flag! They laid down protective material on the hardwood floors between outside door and basement. There were no protective material added to either doors or woodwork. They haul in and out rock, concrete they removed from basement floor, etc. They asked to be able to use our restroom facilities and we agreed (reluctantly). They did not add floor protection and the floors were filthy. Someone plugged the toilet and did not let us know. With a crew of this size a porta potty would be useful. They are hard workers and were polite. The outside cleanup was not good, They left rock all over yard and driveway. We are hopeful that the project will eliminate our basement issues. Only time will tell. Would we do this again, not sure.

From start to finish, they went above and beyond every expectation. They took the time to walk me through each step of the process, making sure I understood exactly what was being done and why. Their communication and professionalism were top-tier. What truly stood out was their work ethic. Despite the cold and snow, they showed up on time, focused, and determined. Weather that would slow most people down didn't faze them at all. They completed the entire project in just three days--fast, efficient, and with excellent quality. I'm genuinely grateful for the care and dedication they put into my home. If you're looking for a team that's reliable, knowledgeable, and committed to doing things right, this crew is the one to call. Highly recommend Everdry Waterproofing!! If I could rate more stars, I would!!!!!

Mid last year, purchased a house where the prior homeowner (who wasn't living in it at the time)…read morewas required to get the foundation fixed and remediation for moisture. Accurate Basement Repair is who they chose - lower five figures cost (it was in fairly bad shape before the work, it's obvious). Can't say it was the prior homeowner, because technically I paid it (since I bought the house and they billed it through closing). I wasn't there either before or during the repair; everything had already been done by the time of closing. That's fine - I understood. Nothing was a red flag in inspection. But here's what I observed, having done nothing but take possession of the home. - The drain tiles seem to be fine. They (ABR) didn't do anything cosmetic to make it look presentable afterwards; just concrete (which is porous). - As another reviewer mentioned, they left the old nonfunctional sump pump laying right next to the new one. Like they just didn't bother to clean up despite charging so much money. - They cheaped out on the sump pump controller; didn't bother to give them the battery backup-equipped unit (yes, we know..."we offered, customer said no to the extra charge, doot doot doot!"...again, for so much money, throw it in. You're talking a few hundred bucks at best). The power tends to go out frequently here, so this was a huge issue when the rains hit. - Sump outlet used to go to the back yard, they redirected it to the front and just laid it out on the front grass. Now it's noisy thoughout the house as well as curb-unappealing. - Part of basement repair should also be sealing. They concrete sealed most of the well opening tops but blatantly missed two of them - when I say "blatant", I'm talking, you can literally put your hand out from the basement to the outside. Which meant that humidity was out of control. Which led to... - An excessive number of dead bugs found, which was odd given there was recent basement repair; since sealing should be part of it. Turns out they were attracted by the excessive moisture from... - The dehumidifier, when we did the initial walkthrough before agreement, was an older unit that was running nonstop. Thought it odd but figured it was related to the recent work. During the final walkthrough, the older dehumidifier had been replaced with a slightly newer - but same model - unit. It wasn't running. Turns out the tank was full; and who knows how long it was sitting there full. After closing, I noticed that tank would just keep filling because the humidity was out of control. Replaced it with a Govee and tapped out a hose to the drain (not sure why ABR couldn't/wouldn't do that); that mitigated it, but it still ran nonstop. That's when I discovered the two openings they clearly missed; after adding some insulation, problem was much more under control. Still gets a bit moist but nowhere near what it was doing (over 80 RH which can lead to mold and wood damage). So what was done well? The steel I-beams bracing the cracked wall seem to be doing their job.

From Cameron's initial assessment through the completion of the project, the entire experience exceeded my expectations. Bob and his crew were consistently quiet, courteous, and respectful of my home and property. At the end of each day, Bob took time to explain what had been accomplished, show me around, and outline the plan for the following day. He was patient and open in answering my questions, which greatly eased my anxiety given the scope of the foundation work. While the long-term results will ultimately be confirmed over time and during future rainfall, I am very confident in the quality of the work performed. The crew's attention to detail was exceptional -- they even washed dirt from the roadway in front of my home (in February) and cleaned my floor by hand before leaving. I highly recommend The Mudjackers Basement Solutions for any foundation or mudjacking needs. They are professional, skilled, and a pleasure to work with.

One of the best was from Mudjackers but as important was the unsolicited recommendation of the engineer who inspected and wrote up the plans (and secured permits) for our house.
