Excellent service. Customers are not allowed inside because of the COVID 19 restrictions. The staff are more than accommodating. We explained what we were looking for and the salesperson made several trips inside to bring out different options. She gave good advice and spent as much time as we needed to assist our choice of a gift for our niece. This location is a bit difficult to find. Check their directions or your GPS. When you arrive there is a table with hand sanitizer and a bell to ring for service. If they don't come right out call their number. Terrible customer service!!! I special order something only to come back two weeks later and the owner sold it to someone else. Then tells me he's going to re-order and call me when it's in. Never does. I only go in emergencies when I really need something and each time it's the same. They are out of what I need or he gives me some looooong story about why it's not in stock. Excuses, excuses. It would be a good store if they got GOOD help at the counter and kept products in stock and on time. Not to much to ask in this day and age. read more

Where has this store been all my life?! Probably the biggest screen printing supply store (and also a ginormous canvas/art supply/paper/etc store) I've ever been to. They make the screens there, nice aluminum and wood ones, and have every sort of ink imaginable. Satisfied my needs more than RISD store! Highly, highly, highly recommended to any art student. Some of the prices are a few cents more than my school's art supply section, however the variety makes up for it. Plus the employees know their stuff. I stopped here a few weeks ago and this place is so cool! What is it with this area having the absolute BEST warehouse stores, between this place and WB Mason, the greatest warehouse stores are in the Avon and Brockton areas. This place has the largest selection and the greatest quality of any art supply you could possibly need. Whether it be framing, painting, drawing, sculpting or anything in between, they'll definitely have it and they'll have a variety. They have a huge variety of everything and have alright deals. Being that I'm used to finding some of the same products, obviously not everything, at WB Mason for dirt cheap this place seemed sort of expensive. Plus, being that I live so close to Michaels and AC Moore, which you can always use a 50% or 60% off coupon at, you can get some of the stuff for less elsewhere (without driving out to Avon...). That being said, there are a good amount of items they have that other places don't, including some furniture for art schools and other places of that type. It's definitely a good place to check out if you are looking for cool art supplies or just for ideas on new projects. I will be definitely making the trip out in the future.... that being said, I will be checking Michaels or AC Moore before purchasing anything here.... to see if they have the item, and if it's a better price with the 50% to 60% coupon. The guy who works here is very friendly and kind. This place is totally hidden in the far back corner of the industrial park, but if you're determined to find quality art supplies at fair prices, it is 100% worth making the trip! Depending on what you're looking for (natural hair brushes, and higher than "student" quality watercolors in my case), their prices are a fraction of what amazon asks, and there's the added bonus of supporting a local small business. I don't know of any other stores in the area like it; the Art Experience is one of a kind! read more

Horrible Customer service!!! I bought 30 T-shirts from this store to do some screen printing and one of them had a hole in it. When i went back in to return it, the owner who's a short frumpy guy with his hair back in a pony tail said that they don't do exchanges for whole sale and told me he would do it once and never again. He made it seem like it was my fault for not check 30 blank T-shirts for holes. I figure if you go to a store to by a product the owner probably shouldn't sell goods if their damaged in the first place. Then he proceeded to tell me that if he takes back damaged products he's gonna have to raise the prices on the shirts "and i don't want that!!!" well i can care less cause i probably wont ever shop at this store again which is a shame cause its a great store but i would rather spend my dollar at a place that's inviting and makes me wanna come back and not write posts like this one. I shopped here 2 years ago looking for airbrush paint. The paint I was interested in was behind a counter 6 feet away. I had no way of previewing the colors without asking for each one to be handed to me by the sales clerk. I made my purchase and when I returned home I realized one of the bottles had been opened already and the paint had been used..Needless to say this was not a positive shopping experience!!! I went back there today arriving 1 hour after the listed opening time. The door was locked and there was a sign taped to the door stating "call this phone number for entry". I dialed the number and waited outside, in the rain, for admittance. Shortly, I was allowed in a 8'x8' entry room and I was told I could not access the stock "in the back". I had to tell the saleswoman what I wanted. I immediately left and I have learned my lesson. Don't waste your time here!!! Unfortunately,I already have. read more

Why would you buy old products at double their price in a dusty warehouse? This is an old art store that has been going out of business for ten years and is subsidized by it's sister commercial screen print business next store. All the art materials found here are old and pricy. Most of the products on the shelves have changed their packaging looks by at least seven years. Example: a small Prismacolor Nupastel stick cost .99 at Blick and other online stores--here the price was 1.79 and to make matters worse the entire lot of pastel sticks were not organized by their color catalog numbers, and were covered by a thin film of dust, making the entire experience very wasteful. yes, this place has a great inventory for a suburban store, but the past two visits the owners were so rude and insulting I haven't been back in more than six months. Instead, I'm choosing to drive to Utrecht in Boston to spend my money -- better prices without the hostility. . Apparently art experience has had serious problems with shoplifting, but their treatment was worse than airport security. That's my hundreds of dollars you're getting!
