I don't usually leave reviews... but felt like I had to…read more no one had tires to fit my car and I had to order them online. called les Schwab and told them, and tried to schedule an appointment. they guy had bad customer service and just told me to go online to schedule an appointment. so I'd did. came in and waited just over 1/2 hr, after my appointment and they told me they could not change my tires cause I bought them online. Their customer service is not that good. the guy at the counter tried to beat around the bush, so I drove over to commercial tire and they helped me out right away (faster and cheaper). their customer service was top-notch! excellent experience. I will never go to Les Schwab in Mountain Home again.

Jose drove up and back to Salt Lake to pick up my VERY hard-to-get tire and by the time my son and I pulled up with the tow truck in Mountain Home, the crew was standing there outside the door with the tire waiting for me! I was traveling through Mountain Home area from Louisiana when a fuel line started leaking on my…read more2012 F250 diesel a little before 8 am. I was able to drive it to this shop. A mechanic on duty informed me that he had a used line on on an old motor. He pulled the line off of the old motor but said his boss wouldn't let him work on my truck until he finished a "locals" truck and then that would be a maybe so. I asked if I could buy the line and change it myself. The owner then stated that he wasn't sure he wanted to sell the line. I called the FORD dealership and they got me one out of Boise by 2:30 in the afternoon. I ended up changing it myself in a parking lot but the owner could have saved me a lot of time and could have replaced the line with a new one the next day knowing he wouldn't need that line. If FORD hadn't had the means to get me a line in 6 1/2 hours, this man would have had me sit for an extra day because he didn't want to sell someone 1,800 miles from home a used fuel line. The mechanic and receptionist are great and really tried to help.

After I specifically scheduled it. This was after changing my oil so I couldn't opt out of the oil change. Then I get in my car and the oil gage isn't reset. So it had me questioning if they just forgot to reset it, or if they even changed my oil since they "didn't have enough time". Price is cheap. So I guess that is on me. You get what you pay for.

The car started just fine everytime until I took it there today. Also, all kinds of lights came on the dashboard that wouldn't turn off like the break light, the ABS light, the traction light, etc. etc. they said it was because of the battery. I have had the battery go bad in this car before and this never happened. They also told me that it wouldn't start if I turned it off because they had to jump it. My spidey senses were tingling and I felt like something was off. I talked to hubby because it's actaully his car. He said he personally had this happen twice at other Walmarts and both times the battery tested good at other locations. So I took the car home and guess what? The lights turned off and it starts just fine everytime I turn it off. My hubby did some research and said this car will do that when you do a hard reset on the computer and you can do that by simply disconnecting the battery. Then I realized this is what the kid at Walmart told me to do to get rid of the dashboard lights. I absolutely feel like they were trying to take advantage of me. WThere is absolutely nothing wrong with my battery. I wonder if they even changed my oil? It makes me want to boycott Walmart but I can't because it's the cheapest place in town to shop. They have very little competition here so they are not worried about losing business. Ugh!

We had phoned the dealership prior to the tow truck arriving and found them very friendly and willing to resolve our problem. The very next work day I went to the service advisors and found them to be very professional and friendly. Traveling outside of our home area and having to seek automotive help is scary as you don't know if the repair facility is honest and will not take advantage of your situation. This was not the case with Mountain Home Auto Ranch, I very quickly realized that these folks were HONEST and TRUSTWORTHY. There was no monkey-business whatsoever. They told me they would start working on my truck right away and they did just that. By mid-afternoon I had my truck back in 100% working order at a very fair and reasonable cost. If I lived in this area would gladly take any of my vehicles to this place for service.

During the test drive, an ignition system component failed and the truck had to be repaired before we could take delivery. We decided to give the dealership a second chance and completed the purchase. About a week later, the check engine light came on for a catalytic converter issue. We had the truck inspected by another Ford dealership, which found sheared exhaust manifold studs and a skid plate that had been secured with zip ties. These were obvious issues that should have been caught during an inspection. Overall, we are very disappointed with the condition of the vehicle and the dealership's inspection process.

Pushy, annoying and unreasonable sales practices. the salespeople at this dealership are rude and…read morepushy, will not take no for an answer even after i bought a car elsewhere. when negotiating, they will try to force you to take their crappy dealer-installed accessories that you absolutely did not request them to install. they'll complain it's too expensive to remove the brake flasher unit (that they chose to install and try to sell you at a 400 dollar markup). i also don't think they're advertising within the laws of idaho: they're not disclosing their advertised prices are lower than msrp but it's contingent on discounts that not everyone qualifies for.

The driver was very helpful in finding us a place to stay for the evening, he drove us, our stuff, car, and dogs there and helped us carry our stuff to the room. He took our car himself to drop off at Hawley's, and when he couldn't find a key deposit box- brought the key back to us at the motel. Shorty's provided us a good experience in what could have been a nightmare.
