The church is in flux since Pastor Jack left but that may be a good time to join as this church has great people, programs that help you grow as a Christian and opportunities for outreach. I've been through the griefshare program and attended small group. Only negative is we have an interim Pastor and I prefer having that sorted out quickly. I suggest you give it a try.

I went with my family to the Christmas party on December 23…read more We were warmly welcomed and there was a noticeable joy, but when it came time for the sermon, my special child started making minimal noises (not very loud and not all the time). I know and am aware that respect should be maintained during the preaching of God's word, but there was no empathy when a guy (because I can't call him brother in the faith) who shows up in the photos with a mustache, I think he is some kind of coordinator,(Tim Woodworthy) sent a usher to come to us NOT TO TAKE THE CHILD TO ANOTHER PLACE, BUT TO MAKE US LEAVE BECAUSE HE WAS MAKING NOISE. Tell me if that is the right way to approach someone who is visiting for the first time--no empathy, no mercy for people with disabilities. I am truly disappointed.

Even though the Our Father is in the liturgy, the Our Father was not recited⁉ If there hadn't been a huge crucifix of our Lord visible, I would have questioned whether or not I was in a Catholic church.
