As a RN, my expectations of healthcare provided to both my family and me are of the utmost professionalism, knowledge, skill, and compassion. I don't want to be treated as a number and rushed. In both professional and personal capacity, I have seen both the worst and those whose excel. iPS Glasgow location went beyond excel to phenomenal care. From the time I walked in until discharge, my care was prompt but not rushed, provided ample tome for me to address my concerns with the medical staff (Sherri, my CRNA, today was so wonderful--I was anxious about an experience at another IPS location repeating itself--she completely alleviated my concerns), the procedure was just like I wanted--pain-free both during and after, I was given time to ask any questions before leaving, was escorted straight to my awaiting ride by a RN (sorry I forgot her name but she did introduce herself), and the facility was sparkling clean! Dr. Rodney Miller has been exceptional at all three visits, but I am so glad IPS BG RP did not have any available appointment with him in a timely manner--he and his team in Glasgow really set the gold standard in healthcare today!!! It was so nice to leave pain-free comfortable knowing I had received the best care possible, pleasantly sleepy after being up about 16 to 18 hours previously (night shift RN), and no longer anxious about my final epidural in this series of 3 in December. I am so glad I ended up at IPS Glasgow because of scheduling availability. Otherwise, I would not have had the opportunity to experience healthcare the way it should be. I just cannot compliment the entire team (MD, CRNA, RN, Receptionist, and anyone that keeps the office sparking clean) appropriately and sufficiently! I have been going to pain management doctors for years because of my back issues & I feel very comfortable recommending this practice. The Dr uses various treatment options including medication, injections & more involved procedures (such as a rhizotomy). It is all done is on an outpatient basis & you are in and out very quickly compared to a lot of other facilities. The staff is wonderful & very courteous and professional, from the receptionist, to insurance to nurses and scheduling assistants. If you have any issues with pain, I would definitely recommend this practice!

Office is clean with plenty of space, Office staff was pleasant and very helpful, appt was right on time with a minimal wait, first nurse was extremely nice and explained everything she did. So everything seemed great -- But this is really where it stopped. Next nurse came in and never introduced herself but wanted to see all my meds, which was fine since I brought them ALL along for them to look at and transparency. I have 5 x meds I take to help elevate pain. However, the only medication that seemed to be of interest was my Percocet prescription. My provider came in next and was very accusatory about my percocet prescription and why I had more pills than what I should have and immediately made the assumption my past prescriptions were for 4 x day and obviously didn't need a new script. The truth was I didn't need more percocet and wasn't there to get more opiods ... but rather for procesures of RFA and/or MMB's. However, she did not seem prepared to discuss this or was even versed in the protocol my CPS doctor uses but rather gave me some what if's and generalizations of what might occur. No plan, no timeline, no PAIN MANAGEMENT. She then spun the visit that she couldn't do anything without my past records and imagery ... however never left to confer with one of the doctors, no patient plan for care, no order for imagery, no paperwork to request for the second time my medical records or even the request for me to go get them and that they would accept them if hand carried (which no other pain office has excepted records from me but all had to be officially requested). With a confused look and faster than it began the visit was over. They seemed Content with ending this visit and scheduling another appointment with my same provider (not a doctor) in a month with no assurance that a care plan would be developed. I've been going to Pain Management clinic for the better part of 25yrs so I am understanding of having to go thru a new doctors protocols - none discussed. No future plan put in place. Basically nothing happened during this visit except billing me for an appt. I know many people need medications to make life even tolerable, however I've never been to a Pain Clinic who didn't know how to act when drugs were not the first, or as in this case, only real line of defense to combat chronic back, neck and leg pain.

On the first one the insurance declined the coverage. We received their notice while leaving their parking lot then today we called prior to leaving and were informed to be there for labs and to talk to the doctor. Another hour and a half drive and two and a half wait only to be told that we did not have an appointment I would not recommend this facility to anyone. Six hours of driving two wasted days for nothing. Thanks pain center for nothing.

I've been going to Elizabethtown commonwealth pain and spine…read more I've never had any problems with the staff they have always treated me with respect and ever goes great woth my procedure. only once's I having my procedure on my neck pain they did C-3 and C-4 and C-5 they only did one side at a different time did the other side with how insurance only do two procedures a year . this cost me pain over 7 to 8 months until I was able to get a bilateral procedure so that way I was able get two procedures at the same location. biggest problem was get my insurance to approve this procedure. but I like thank everyone that help me get this procedure taking care of from approved and doing a bilateral. thank god everything has help me with to no pain for several months I like thank everyone of the staff that made sure I was getting taking care of . they have my total respect
