She took me to her office where she spent 30 minutes telling me I was fat. And then presented me with the program. To lose weight you must pay $697 dollars for blood work and to talk to the doctor. And then weekly fees after that to see the doctor and the nutritionist PLUS the cost of their boxed meals. Which they call "meal replacements " To lose weight you must buy their food which is not even regulated by the food and drug department. it's 29.99 a box for 7 meals. An average person would easily spend $300.00 a month at least on these boxed meals that you add water to. There is nothing "medical " about this. It's high pressure sales and eating boxed meals. It's not healthy or nutritious. Studies show it won't work for the long term weight management either. I'm going to stay with my actual medical doctor suggestion and eat healthy foods and exercise and continue my weight loss journey the correct way. This place preys upon your emotions and makes a ton of money off boxed food. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!

The medical attention and the bench marks that I can see sucess. So far in 30 days I have lost 39 pounds since I started the process. The best is that the body scans are showing its not all water loss, but actual fat. My husband is noticing the difference so its showing. This is a great and intense program that resets my metabolism and with lots of vitamins and minerals may nutritional deficiency is being corrected.

What can I say? Abbi Miller is my hero. She has a gift for healing, helping, educating, sharing,…read moreand ultimately inspiring every other human she comes into contact with. Am I overly excited about working with Abbi Miller? YES. Do I recommend that others do the same - EMPHATIC YES again. I have had the pleasure of working with Abbi Miller in the capacity of a yoga student, as well as when I was seeking nutritional advice. I stumbled upon Abbi in the early years of my own yoga journey, and am grateful for this because due to her very passionate, patient, and unique style of instruction, I stuck with it. And I learned SO much from her as a beginning student, that I still carry with me today as someone who practices daily. She has her own style, which, in my opinion puts folks at ease. This style helps students/clients absorb and process information, as well as concepts. And in the case of yoga postures - those come naturally, too (NOTE: laughter and smiles seem to always be involved with all things Abbi). It is difficult to capture a description of what Abbi Miller has to offer in a review. You just need to MEET her. If you want to take up yoga as a newbie - contact Abbi, and check out her calendar. Private instruction is something I personally did after initially taking group classes with her, and I highly suggest it for others. If you are wanting a fresh look at your diet and health, or just some support, she is also a great resource for that as well. I feel that anyone who is seeking any type of positive change in their lives will benefit from using her services. She has the type of empathetic, understanding, and determined mindset, that will carry over into whatever your session might entail (be it yoga or nutritional guidance). I can't say enough good things about Abbi. She made an imprint on me personally, which I can gladly say has helped me with my own health challenges. I am very thankful for her dedication to sharing a love and knowledge of yoga and wellness to the masses.

I never thought I would have someone in my life with so much wisdom and love to spread as Abbi does…read moreso effortlessly. I'm lucky to be able to work with Abbi, and it's truly one of the best experiences I've had with a coach in my life. She's warm, open, supportive and so smart. She makes nutrition interesting and makes me want to treat myself more kindly. It's not only about food and calories, it's about a lifestyle and how we can together make it work to that lifestyle. It's about baby steps and not the quick fixes. She wants to you to live your life effortlessly and not be concerned about fad diets. She pushes the importance of nutrition and how to fuel your body the way it needs to be fueled. I've also had the pleasure of doing private yoga lessons with Abbi. They were the highlight of my day when I had an appointment with her. She makes it fun and not serious. I always left feeling so inspired by her when we would practice together. She teaches all over the city, so try and find a class she teaches, you won't be sorry! Abbi Miller is one of a kind and I totally recommend working with her if you are able to. Take her up on her promos and follow her on all her social accounts, she spreads so much great information that just gets you thinking.

I got a gastric bypass from Dr. Hamilton on 8/22/22 and two this day. My stomach has never been…read moreright. They did not tell me first of all that I would not be able to metabolize a medication I was taking and I would almost die of an overdose. Then I had a staple found in my stomach and an endoscopy that they did. And they charged me for it. Finally, my stomach has never been the same. I have so much more acid, difficulty digesting, constantly feeling nauseous after I eat. Just a lot of different complications. I do take licorice root of all things and this does help my stomach some. Plus, I have medication for nausea now. But it's not fun going through pain every single day after you eat no matter how much you eat. I even had trouble taking pills now. I would not recommend these people. I think this is a chop shop to tell you the truth. They do more procedures at this office than any other office in the United States. What should that tell you? I figured they know what they were doing, but I think I was wrong.

Let me preface my comments here with the fact that I think gastric bypass surgery was the best…read morething that ever happened to me -- I just wish I'd known from the beginning that this was a Lot more complicated than they Ever told me. I had gastric bypass surgery in February of 2013. At the age of 48. When I originally started the process I was 5'2 and 346#. At the time of surgery I was about 20# less. Dr Hoen is an excellent surgeon, an his team is great as well. I will say the appt scheduling, front desk staff and billing staff are less than exceptional. At that time the did have the seminars - and they made the whole process sound painless and either glossed over or skipped completely the less savory parts. I remember being told the process would eliminate things like gremlin - that hunger pangs would go away forever. This might be the case during the honeymoon period but they do return long term. I after a few follow up surgeries- hernia, strictures, etc I did reach a low of about 150, the goal originally set. At that time I was ready for a pannicolectomy - during the seminar they promised they would have a surgeon on staff to do such surgeries-- they did not. Instead I went to a plastic surgeon and had an "outpatient procedure." The evening after I developed a hemorrhage and was back in the hospital on life support. After this I was in the hospital for a week and in rehab for 6 weeks. Right after I has recovered from that I had another hernia operation, which one of the bariatric surgeons did "open surgery" which completely destroyed my newly rebuilt belly button. Not long after that I had another hernia surgery by the same bariatric doctor, where he repaired the hernia an the placed a mesh patch over it. During all of this I experienced the same compassionate care from the surgeons and their support staff, and the same frustrating front desk indifference. After all this, I was down to 135 and looked like I was on the verge of death. People would come up to me in public and off to "help" me because they thought I looked too weak to manage on my own. I have in last couple of years regained some weight and am currently trying to lose it again.
