Community Internet Providers - Internet Service Providers Near Me - Wills Point, Texas

This internet provider used to be too good to be true. As of last night when the service went down and NO one was monitoring the system and no one created a recording to let customers know what was going on (like they used to) I'm changing my mind about this company. Sadly, it seems to have gone way so many companies do...down! System is back up 12 hours later. I called the local Wills Point, TX phone number to find out what had happened and ask why there was no one on a recorded statement explaining the issue and when internet would be back online. I got someone that I couldn't understand half of what he said and wouldn't let me speak to someone that I could understand. I clearly wasn't in Texas anymore. When asked about last night's connectivity issue, he wasn't allowed to tell me that either. I'm not sure why he even answered the phone! Can not and will not recommend this IP. Too bad. It was the best one by far. Not anymore :( read more

Every time the wind blows or storm comes through we lose Internet and their excuses, or a mile long. We're into this acquisition of the local provider well into a year and they've done nothing to create stability or increase quality. We've actually went backwards from the local provider we had before they acquired them. Save yourself a headache go by store link you'll spend about the same amount of money if you need a tower and for their installation and hardware and you'll have more reliability. read more

It's sad because I really thought this was a great company. I've had a problem with slow Internet for 2 weeks. There is a problem with THEIR tower and it could take 30 days to fix. Unfortunately, I run an Internet marketing business and can't wait that long. They don't care. read more

Great service. Very Fast. John installed our internet and he was great and very helpful.

Goes out consistently for hours at a time and is slow when it does work. I have tested and reset, reboot and restricted the number of devices using it... makes no difference. I need this for work and can't have outages constantly like this. I will be moving to another internet when I receive the equipment for it when it comes to my area in a few months. read more

we had an appointment scheduled to install out fiber they came back with a later date, then left and again returned asking to push the install date farther out the fiber had been been out in for 3 weeks now. i called this past Saturday and spoke with someone cause we weren't on the schedule until Thursday. they changed it to Monday so we were happy with the sooner install. then today Monday the day of the install they call when the installer was supposed to be here installing, and said its not ready yet we have to move you to another week later on Monday, so not happy at all hope you enjoy being ripoff artist you lost a customer today, and they also took advantage of us by telling us to go ahead and install their wireless internet saying it will make the fiber free to install once it goes live well come to find out the launch month was free anyway so take your 300 dollar install and hope your greed looses you more customers. read more

Everytime I have had to call this wonderful business (and that has been rare) I have received excellent service. I called today because I noticed the top of the tower with the receivers was leaning and I didn't want it to break off in a strong wind like we had several weeks ago. Matthew came out, climbed up my tower and saw immmediately that a bracket was broken, probably from that awful wind, and could be replaced to secure the pole with the receivers. He called for parts and when they came, Matthew climbed back up and secured everything. He is a great guy and I so appreciated his working on my tower !! This is a wonderful company and I am so glad they are my internet providers. Go with them if you can !! Jacob & Clay were the technicians that helped install our internet, they were friendly and had it installed in a timely manner.

We moved here in 2020 and began using CIP. We own a business here and the internet usage we needed wasn't what we had and wasn't conveyed to us that it was available. We changed service and were due a refund. I sent 3 emails requesting it and made 6-7 phone calls asking about the refund- each time being told it was being processed. At one point was even told in 7-10 business days I would receive it. Here we are, the end of October and have still not received it. read more

Although I've only had the Internet with Community Internet Providers for a week I have to say that I'm more pleased with the service and the customer service has been out of this world.
