S T A F F: Cheerful, friendly, and very knowledgeable of the programs that are being offered at the BTB facility. The staff are very professional and also really down to earth too. S E R V I C E S: Aside from the archery program, I've yet to check out their other programs, but looking forward to checking out their aquatics program when the weather warms up a bit. Right now its about to be December...and its frigidly cold! E X P E R I E N C E: I recently joined the competitive Break the Barriers Archery Team. I used to shoot archery when I was able-bodied, yet I had to overcome some life-changing hurdles to relearn my beloved sport of archery after a freak occupational accident that caused severe vision loss. Through the coaching services at Break the Barriers, I was able to enjoy this sport again. Presently, I traverse my world using a guide cane while being supported by adaptive technology, four acute senses, and random gourmanding blunders. Overall, I have enjoyed the camaraderie that I've received from both my challenged athlete and able-bodied teammates. Everyone from the BTB archery program, staff and participants have been very respectful, supportive, and sometimes hilarious. It's nice to feel like I'm a part of something where "disability" divides us apart.

Unfortunately, my opinion completely changed after my 3 year old daughter was inappropriately grabbed on her butt by another child while in Kids Park's care. When I brought my concerns initially to a staff member, they said they would let the manager know , and after poor follow up I called again and spoke to another staff member , and on my 3rd call it was the owner, who told me she had spoken with the staff and that no one had seen anything happen. I trusted that response, even though it left me with unanswered questions. Because I still had concerns, I filed a complaint with Community Care Licensing. I recently learned that my complaint was substantiated and that Kids Park was investigated in connection with another complaint. Learning this made me feel like I had not been given the full picture when I first sought answers. I hope Kids Park takes meaningful steps to improve supervision, communication, and child safety so that no other family has to go through what ours did.

There was security there but they didn't do much but just watch for people to not get too crazy I suppose. There's a full body mirror in the bathroom for your fit checks. The back kitchen was fully open for food storage in the refrigerator, ice maker and the food in the warmers.My friend's family chose a lovely venue for their loved one, hopefully they got a good value for the quality and comfort to celebrate which I think was a hit!

Only concern is that because they were so busy, we had to ask for things multiple times before getting a response and I asked for a podium 3 times but it was ultimately forgotten. It definitely wasn't a deal breaker though and I'd utilize this space again for an event!

I understand safety is important but my child was not even 2 years old yet. She had to be taught and sending her home wasn't teaching her. She never bit a kid. She was rough or ran from teachers in the class and on the play yard. I feel like that's normal behavior for not even being 2 yet. She needed exposure and to be taught the expectations. I don't understand how she could be doing such bad things to be sent home. I finally ended up pulling her because my husband was told she was sitting in the office for an hour crying the whole time. My husband took off work and picked her up and she was sobbing and couldn't stop. He sent me a video and it was awful. Toddlers should not be treated that way. I didn't feel comfortable. That was not appropriate punishment for her age. I teach 5 and 6 year olds and we don't have them sitting and crying for an hour. I never took her back. Safety is important, I know. They said they were following rules, okay. I completely understand them having to follow the rules. It was just not for my child, so we left. She was there about a month. I waited to review because at the time I didn't know if my child was just THAT uncontrollable. No. I feel like she needed to be taught and needed AGE appropriate redirection/consequences. She's at a new daycare now doing great for the past 8 months!

My son was originally in a smaller in-home daycare center but transitioned to NFCU as he became older and needed more quality interaction. My son experienced some small struggles upon his initial transition, nothing out of the ordinary with change, but the NFCU team quickly identified his needs and helped to make his transition smooth. Fast forward a year later, and my son was transitioning into the pre-school class. Like most kids, this was a very big change for him. A larger group setting, fine motor skill activities, and more involved math, science, and literacy activities. Plus, the need for growth in behavioral skills! My son struggled with attention span, maturity, and patience. (like all kids do). The team at NFCU did an amazing job at identifying my sons pain points and finding alternative activities when my son became overwhelmed. Each day they worked to incorporate an extra minute in his circle time, until finally he could make it through the entire circle time. They allowed him to be a class volunteer and help pass out supplies or prepare for activities when he would start to get the wiggles and needed to get up and do busy work. My son is now fully engaged and on track with where he needs to be at this stage of pre-school. All the providers, the Campus Director, and Nancy herself, have been extremely involved in the overall success of my son's experience and I couldn't be more thankful. I look forward to this next year and plan to continue to use NFCU for his before and after school care, once he transitions to Kindergarten.

Nancy, Robin and all of the staff are amazing and always friendly. I've sent all four of my children to this daycare. Any time I had a concern it was immediately resolved. They have an amazing program and go above and beyond with their Christmas program and Pre-K graduations. My children are 13, 12, 6 and 5, they are amazing little people and in large part due to Nancy Fuller Childrens University.
