If I could give less than 1 star, I would. Avoid this place at all costs unless you want to be dismissed, given attitude and have your health concerns completely ignored. This goes for the doctors and NP's working here. If you call looking for a doctor, they automatically place you with a nurse practitioner unless you specifically tell them you'd like a doctor. Not that it matters much because the actual MD's aren't any better. If you value your health and want to receive proper care, do not come here. read more

Went in and the medical assistant Rosa was rude and laughed in my face when asking a question When i asked for admin because of the situation i felt uncomfortable and the administrator Norma must have opened my EHR record before coming to speak with me because she asked "when is your next behavior health visit?" This wasn't a BH appt. So to try to stop me from putting in a complaint or taking my complaint serious she tried to paint me as mentally ill. I wouldn't recommend this clinic to my worst enemy. They are the most unprofessional organization I have ever had the misfortune of being a client of. I am in my 60s and have had some difficult experiences but none that has left me feeling so horrible. In just 2 months I've been stood up for phone appointments 3 times and each time they automatically say I was supposed to be in person so they could still bill my Insurance. I proved them wrong to insure this doesn't happen and 2 of my friends have told me "that's just what they do" and because they are doctors they get away with it, with no consequences. Not to mention the extraordinarily unprofessional care I received by 2 different specialists. Without getting to personal it was horrible! I worked with their "Patient Relations Manager" just so she could document and mitigate their losses. THEY OBVIOUSLY DOBT CARE ABIUT THEIR PATIENTS- BUYER BEWARE!!! read more

I only use this facility to drop off my medication syringes. There are many times the box is full & I have to come back repeatedly. They could use 2 drop off boxes or empty it more often. I don't think this is the facility's fault, but it is difficult to find a facility that accepts syringes. read more

I give this Clinic less than one star if I could. I have been dealing with Community Medical Centers for many years now. Dating back to 2003. I would not recommend a human being bringing their dog to this Clinic. There is a total lack of breakdown of communication among staff. Check counted them to keep their appointments as they schedule. Too much time wasted being on hold. The office staff is incompetent. The physician is great but the office staff can't give him the correct phone number to call. Haven't seen him in over 6 months because there is no case management. If you're a senior citizen the effort you must expend trying to get medical care is exhausting and not worth the trouble. Choose another program if you want to survive. Any referrals to specialist will go nowhere. Lab tests will not get done. There is no transportation so if you don't own a car the staff will file you away along with your old phone number because they cannot process information and don't care. read more

Call center is awful. Adventist Health- Lodi Vine Family care was bought by CMC- Horrible!! I can't make a simple call without waiting over an hour to get to the call center. I have to call 2-3 times with over 30 minute wait each time for someone to pick up. Not to mention doctors leave all the time, and I have to see a new doctor everytime I go. A couple of months ago my husband was in need to see a doctor. The front desk in March ln. make him an appointment with a certain N.P. rude without respect for the patient. He mocked my husband told him that the center didn't need the money he paid for the consultation, send him home without treatment. They do not treat all people the same. I am part of the working class without health insurance. A full-time student on a very limited income. Therefore, when I see a medical provider there are certain criteria which I expect will be met: respect, a good listener, and someone who will not lump me in with every other patient they've seen for the last day, weeks, months or years. As particular as I am regarding restaurants, I am even more particular with a medical provider. I provide a complete medical background and specificity in my symptoms (I write EVERYTHING down before I get there) so that I can enter in a two-way conversation with the provider. I will say the administrative staff are most definetly a cut above: courteous, thorough and helpful, both on the phone and in person. This is the reason they've received one of the two stars from me. However, the young woman who took my blood pressure did so THREE TIMES ON THE SAME ARM! Darn - I'm not a medical assistant and I know you cannot repeat a BP on the same arm within just a few minutes without shooting someone's blood pressure through the roof. There was an air leak in the digital sphygmomanometer - and the doctor actually tried to plug it with her finger during the reading! Later on the Dr's. only pointed question for me was whether "anyone in your family have asthma?" (No they don't thank you for reading my health bio and picking out the one thing that does NOT afflict my family) She prescribed something which is contraindicated for me. Hmph. This Dr. seems as if she received her medical degree from a school advertised on a matchbook cover. This clinic takes into account my low income and charges on a sliding scale, and hence, the other star. Nonetheless, that does not excuse their doctors (many on rotation from the County) in performing their duties in anything less than a conscientious and meticulous manner. Also, the waiting room is a petri dish for communicable disease with too many people cramped in a room with insufficient ventilation. I came here for my pesky respiratory allergies not to get a virulent dose of TB. I'll go back only to get some low-cost labs and not because the quality of the Drs. inspire confidence. read more

If at all possible, I recommend you try another medical clinic before going to channel medical or any of the clinics under the umbrella of 'community medical centers'. They treat their patients like cattle. I was informed that when they are busy they put more than one patient to a small room. They are nearly always busy, and in my experience, the wait time has always been OVER TWO HOURS-EVEN WITH AN APPOINTMENT!!! I took my severely autistic non-verbal son to his appointment. He was having a lot of pain and was recently discharged from the ER because he developed pancreatitis. These people made him wait over 2 hours after saying there was only two appointments ahead of him. They make you wait a ridiculous amount of time with no apologies and then YOU GET ABOUT 5 MINUTES WITH THE DOCTOR. It is a highly unethical practice for which you should avoid at all cost. ALL PEOPLE (yes, even the poor) in the USA are entitled to adequate medical care.These people do not appear to offer it. So what came of my sons appointment? He was told to come back in one week because they needed to order "all the paperwork" from the hospital. No other services were rendered. When I asked if he would have to wait as long at his next appointment, guess what they answered? "No, because there will only be two appointments ahead of him." I have heard that the the community medical centers commonly tell people to return in one week so that they can order "the paperwork". Having worked in medical clinics in the past, I can tell you that most places order the paperwork while you wait. However, because these people tell you to come back in one week, they can bill you, or your insurance, twice. If you already go to this clinic and have been treated poorly, please speak out. No one deserves to be treated this way. read more

Staff is unprofessional and rude, unless you speak Spanish of course (which I do but since I'm white they assumed I didn't.) they can't hold a conversation with the patient instead answering phones when I am trying to check in, rather than putting the person on hold they just kept talking handing me the paper not even explaining what to do. I specifically called and made an appointment only to get here early to check in and be told my appointment was not what I was told when I called. Hopefully the physicians are more respectful. Update: after going back and forth with these people about having to give a sample come to find out the container they issued me was the wrong one. Now I have to go back and do it again. I went to go see a doctor at that time i think i was 33 weeks i just moved back from another state and they told me they couldnt see me since i didnt have insurance i swear there was one chick rude as heck. She looked like she didnt want to be bothered i asked a questioned she talked to me like i was stupid im like wow. And as i was told later on your company doesnt turn anyone away they will help you no matter what i will never go to this location. And the only reason why i have to go to the march lane location is because im due in January not much options the doctors lazy the nurse i got lazy so i had to switch they gave me a shot that i told them im allergic or have reaction to and still gave to me anyways had to go to emergency this company sucks. Honestly, it's the location and presentation that makes this community hospital feel... slightly old and overused with a touch of non-sanitation. Its located in the area of downtown Stockton, which I personally believe is a pretty area. I've always been a fan of cities' downtown vibes. But this particular area is in the middle of used car lots, and random unkempt individuals lingering about from time to time. In all fairness, it is a medical center so the people around here are probably feeling moody, sick, tired, and frustrated. Especially because the speed of service is often slow. Yet, as it is my second time being here, both times for my lady who had appointments, the service has been relatively quick for a medical center. The first time we arrived it was very early in the morning, and the line was from the counter to the entrance. They moved the line at a sub-par rate of speed, but once she was checked in they called her in pretty quickly; roughly 15 minutes. She came back out, only doing her vitals and prediagnostics, and then she was called in again in about another 15 minutes. Finally, she came out and went in once more, and came out in about 20 minutes. We didn't spend all day there, and apparently they get a lot of people on the daily here. This location was simply the closest for the need and we were too tired and ill to go anywhere further. This second time, the line was startlingly short, and she was able to check in under five minute. We arrived here at about one o' clock. The waiting room is fairly empty, juxtaposed to the initial time we came here in the morning when it was packed. At the moment, all insurances are not accepted. Also, to a big detriment, private insurance is not being accepted for three to four weeks. I'm sort of scared to wonder what happened to stop this luxury... The waiting room has about 40 burgundy cushioned chairs and a bench or two to sit on inside as well. There is a small plasma screen television in the corner of the waiting room. The bathroom is towards the back, and it was pretty clean when I used it. The desk up front is usually staffed and it seems they're pretty efficient at getting people checked in. It sort of looks bland in here, and it doesn't give off the most clean, sanitized vibe. Mostly the floors and entrance looks like it isn't mopped much, but it's not gross by any standards. A lot of sick individuals come through these doors, and frankly I can't help but write this review with other medical centers and hospitals I've been to in mind. This place is no hospital, so I give it the benefit of the doubt in presentation and cleanliness, but I think the standards of the lobby and the outside could be heightened nonetheless. What's cool is they have a visible chart in the desk lobby area of "on time\a tiempo" and "running late/atrasado" doctors for their specialties. Nice, nice touch, and very creative. I've never seen this anywhere, and this really impresses me. Its a neighborhood community health clinic for minor to slightly disheartening illnesses, and its visible the center is caring, and trying. Female security guard out front who greets ya', and I have seen a worker come into the lobby and wipe down the handles, knobs, doors, windows, and sweep a bit. They're trying, and in a place where emotions matter, it's good to see those things. No clue how being in the back goes, but my lady was fine and got her updated prescriptions pretty easily. Also, I threw my back out on some heavy deadlifts at the gym. My lady was thoughtful enough to mention it to the doctor while she was in there, and, combined with her recent back injury "giggles" they prescribed her some mild, close enough to be over the counter ibuprofen to help with back pain and muscle pains. It was nice, because she did it for me, and it helped her out too. They don't prescribe anything devious or hardcore to be abused, and I jokingly said that was approriate, especially because I reckon a lot of folks in this area don't necessarily need anything prone to abuse. If you, or I for that matter, ever needed anything proven to work and it was a popular, more potent Rx drug, I'd go to my private doctor, and I'd suggest you do too. But they're nice, discretionary, and I can't complain about this place. read more

My son had very bad eczema and had not received his immunization shots. He has his regular doctor but her office kept rescheduling him out (3 times to be exact). I got frustrated and decided since his regular doctor won't see him I need to take action. So just earlier today I called in to channel medical center. The rep managed to schedule me in for today. Now upon arriving to this facility I looked up the reviews for this clinic. This place has really bad reviews about professionalism,service being slow,old looking building and all of the things that you wouldn't hope for in customer service. I can honestly say the clinic looked very up to date inside, like it should. There's a security guard at the entrance to check you (which made me feel safe), and the receptionist worked very quickly with registration documents. My son had his physical done, eczema was checked out and immunization shots were done all at once. Doctor was very thorough about recommendations and received information about the shots given and what to do about reactions. We were out within just an hour. Overall we had a very great experience. So I definitely recommend this place.this happened to be our first time here and everyone was just fantastic from the front office to the doctor. read more

I thought this place would be an okay place but no not at all. The front lady who greeted us was nice and gave us directions on where to go. The nurse who checked my cousins vitals and eyes were understanding and polite to work with BUT the eye doctor, I'm not to sure of her name, was rude. My cousin is disable, she cannot speak but she can understand and reply back. The eye doctor showed pictures of letters which my cousin cannot interpret back & I even told the eye doctor of the situation. & she even said next time we need to have an interpreter who understands sign language with us. I understand that but she was not willing and understanding of people's situations. Not everyone has the resources to get someone to just come out and do that. When the letters were shown it was easy for my cousin to know if someone pointed at the letters so she knew which ones she had to show the directions of but no. The eye doctor lady had a rude tone. She flipped through her slides & she had pictures, she could have just used pictures! She told us there are resources to get someone to come out but she just kept pushing it and making it seem like it's our fault when we did not know. & the ladies at the computers who are calling patients were just talking among themselves (I understand I mean everyone does that) but you shouldn't use profanity when there are patients around. read more

Today is the second time I've come to this clinic. The first time was almost a year ago. I have no medical insurance so I wait until I think I have something serious. Last time I thought I had strep so I made an appointment for 0800. The clinic doesn't open until 0800. Or at least that's what the front door says. So you'd think that means id get the first appointment. But I guess not. I waited almost two hours to be seen. Turns out walk-ins get seen before you if they show up before you do. And that just bumps your appointment back and back. I'm here today, in the waiting room. Same problem, my appointment was at 0800. It's now 0900 still waiting. The waiting room is a cesspool. Too many people cramped in and no airflow. People coughing without covering their mouths, not even offered a mask. Then there are the screaming, kicking, unsupervised children. People! Keep and eye on your kids! It does deserve the one star because of the sliding scale payment. I had no income so I only had to pay 30 for the visit. Which isn't bad since I only go to the doctors if I feel something is serious. But really, if you can go anywhere else, I highly recommend it. Especially if you have a weak immune system. read more

Community Medical Centers are notorious for being terrible. The wait to be seen is long. Front desk receptionists are rude. Doctors give you very little time and attention. I want to inform anyone that plans on being seen at this location that things are a little different here. I am only giving it three stars because the neighborhood doesn't appear to be very safe. A security guard is stationed at the entrance, and he will check your person and your purse. I found that odd. Next, this facility seems to see mostly Spanish speaking patients. So, if you're a huge supporter of Trump's America, your blood pressure will go through the roof here. I can speak Spanish fluently, so whatevs. Next, though I had an appointment, I still waited half an hour to be seen. Very unorganized medical center. Sure the staff is nice but my experience here has led me to yelp a poor report. I come in early for my apptmnt and wait patiently all to discover the poor misdirected staff unable to explain there obliviousness of my reason for coming. And that is to get a simple TB shot. Just as she is about to get the needles ready I remind the nice lady, how long would it take to see my reading. She pauses and realize 3 days but duhhh were closed on Saturday. You'll have to come back nxt time. I understand that so I reschedule and ask for my money back all to no avail the only lady qualified to give me my money is out to lunch. I'm like whatever, I'll just come back and do it nxt time. To think it would end there I receive more wonderful news, as i get in my car the needle lady comes out and says I can't even take my TB shot til later than expected bcuz she failed to realize they'll b closed. What a waste of time that could have been avoided by the appointment desk who could've told me all this from the beginning and save me the trip to wake up, waste gas, n give my money away to the lady who went to lunch. I'm not upset at the staff individually, but as a bulk. Communicate people and be MORE organized! I believe this office does wonderful for the volume of clients they have to deal with. My son had to go in and get stitches, they rushed him in and out. With no insurance, I was still able to pay the bill. I was hit by a car and there was no place at all willing to take me with out insurance for follow up after the emergency. This place did and even did x-rays. I have to say that I was grateful that the took, even though it was not help ( this is why they are not getting a five.) However, I have since returned ( I used mariposa's clinic), for other reasons, and they are helping me a great bit. read more

i hate this place, very unorganized... looks like everyone here just got out of med school, they made me cry twice, all my appointments were messed up everytime, requested female doctors for all future appointments but everytime i come in i would get booked with a male instead, they dont have ultrasounds machine!! they send you out to tate to get all your ultrasounds done, how inconvenient, they made me fill out same paperworks TWICE! supposedly, they said it was misplaced, i gave this place several chances and this morning just really really frustrated and upsets me, i woke up so early to get to my 745 app, and the doctor i had an appointment with didnt show up, at first i asked if she was coming in, they told me they are not even sure and for me to wait till 830 to see if she shows up, that was 8, then 845 comes and they never even came to tell me she never showed, i got up in angry tears and left, i just dont recommend anyone to come here.... please save yourself and go anywhere else but here.... read more
