One notices right away that there are not any odors in the building and the air quality is comfortable. The therapy gym has many devices for use. One of my favorite is the spatial memory game available on the state-of-art tech screen. During my sessions, I was provided ample time to rest before beginning a new exercise or session. My OT and PT therapists had an excellent knowledge-base of ideas. I recommend patients bring snacks. Consider bringing Mocha protein shakes for Gen X to Gen Alpha. Homemade baked goods, etc.

Layer up before admitting anyone to this facility, you'll need it! In the past 21 months, there…read morehave been 3 different administrators, each one worse than the last. All patients are treated as dementia patients, whether they have it or not. Lack of floor staff has been an ongoing problem; management is top heavy. The current administrator has been spreading unsubstantiated rumors about residents and staff.  When i tried to exercise my rites, they told me "You have no rites except the ones we allow you"; then when I argued with the currant administrator, she called law enforcement and had me taken in for a psychological evaluation, claiming she feared for her safety. They will threaten you and even place you on 24/7 surveillance, placing a staff member in your room to watch you, increasing the staff shortage. When I complained that I have a rite to privacy, I was told "no, you do not have a right to privacy". I was told I was not allowed to go to assisted living because of my emotional support dog; and I have heard from staff members that they started a rumor about him being vicious. Medications are not always on time, due to staffing shortages. The pharmacy used is out of Vancouver WA., and does not always send the medications or change orders without the nurse having to play 20 questions with them to get an answer. Meals leave something to be desired, and have been getting later than scheduled. Overall, I have been treated better in jail, I'm sad to say! I would give less stars, but this site will not allow.

The workers here are incredibly dedicated in how they treat the residents, it's always a pleasure to come here and the apartments are very nice. They will deliver food/or have it downstairs. They also have an option for helping with meds. It's an amazing place for memory care with dignity, in addition to a safe place to live for those who are not yet in need of a higher level of care.

I was hesitant to post a review, but, after the conversation with the Liason from Billings hospital…read moretoday I decided I would. My Mom was transferred there after she had back surgery and her wound was not healing as quickly as they had hoped. Within one week of being there, I was called and a nurse told me she was unresponsive verbally and they were sending her to the Billings Clinic ER. She also made a point to tell me they had just changed her catheter, which I thought was strange. Once she was in the ER she was diagnosed with an infection in her wound ,a UTI, and the beginning of bedsores. I did pick up her things and expressed my concerns and told the staff she would not be returning. I was even more concerned when the hospital pharmicist was the person in charge of patients due to inadequate staffing. They have pushed to have my Mom returned to this facility and I have said no. The Billings Hospital liason that is employed by Advanced Care basically told me that there was no chart supporting my concerns, even though I was told all of this while she was still in the ER. He claimed it was not until after she was actually admitted that any of this was charted. Instead of showing some accountability for her care, or saying a follow up had been done at Advanced Care, he basically tried to say in a vague way, that Billings hospital was responsible and they had no blame. Consider carefully before you allow your loved one to go into this facility. A UTI at my Moms age could literally kill her. And there was no reason she needed a catheter. The only reason would be lack of staff and inadequate care for each patient. The amount they bill Medicare or private insurance is VERY high, not at all equal to the care my Mom deserved and was given. Its basically a storage facility for those who are still to sick to go into a rehab facility and need to be moved because of the lack of beds at Billings hospital. UPDATE: I wish I could leave zero stars. Please read my previous review. After talking to Billings Clinic Hospital and reviewing my Moms chart, I now know my Mom had an E. COLI infection from this place!!!!! They took ZERO responsibility.
