I was honestly surprise by the reviews. The women in the front have always been kind to me and helped me. Some even held friendly conversations with me. Ive only had one issue with a doctor but honestly I don't really care that much nor remember about what. I remember being annoyed but obviously not important if i cant remember why. Horrible in every sense of the word. This place is ran by stooges who hate their jobs and it shows. The level of incompetence and unprofessionalism is unlike anything I've ever seen. The female employees present and behave as though they were just released from the county jail, confrontational with poor attitudes. If they cared half as much about patients as they do the application of hideous false eyelashes (which they all seem to wear) this place might be slightly less unpleasant. I don't think I could possibly be as snarky to patients even if I did have the unfortunate task of collecting and pouring urine for a living. Due to his bedside manner and inability to conduct himself in a matter worthy of the title of physician, Dr. Terrence Reding should be avoided to the extent possible. I went to this location because it was closest to me despite the reviews, In earnest I should have taken them into consideration. The nurse that assisted me claimed I refused to remove my sweater (this is for a drug test) i didn't, she only said to remove my hat and belongings in my pockets. The second part she claimed I could not produce a sample to temperature, not thinking the fact that her gloves prevented her being capable of telling the difference and flushed it . I was restricted to a time frame and could not stay another hour and a half and had to leave stating I would retest another day. Again her due diligence to laziness/stupidity, she did not inform that this would count as a refusal. For the fact of this situation the nurse did not inform me of specific details, I failed the background check in order for employment. Personally I won't be going back to this "urgent care" facility but if you do ask for someone else if Isabel Aguilar is not suitable to be a nurse and is a disgrace to the profession. read more

The front ladies are absolutely so rude and disrespectful. I usually have a great experience here but the new younger woman they hired have absolutely 0 people skills and speaks to the patients like she's beyond annoyed. She kept rolling her eyes and speaking to me like a child simply because I was trying to get a form filled from the doctor regarding a previous visit. She had 0 intentions to help me and was just trying to end her day. Wrost place ever! Been here last month for same thing. Then came back and same doctor Redding and didn't even take time to help me with my diagnosis since I been here twice for the Same thing the last two months plus I'm pregnant. He prescribed me medication that was not recommended for pregnant women thank god the pharmacist told me! I had to call CMH and see if he can proscribe something that is safe to take, they transferred me to a nurse where she was very nice and spoke to doctor on call and advised me to come in and get seen again so he can give me something else more appropriate. So I went back once again and doctor jones was very nice and really took the time to help me and give something safe. He recommended I come back 3 times to get a injection and he wrote me a note and advised to just come in show them the note that I'm her for a injection and I don't wait I just come in and get it and leave the nurse also advised me to make a morning appointment which when I left the receptionist said oh no need for that. But I got confirmation the appointment was made at 9am. Here I am just here to get a shot and they have me waiting in the waiting room while all these people are being called that came after me! I have no idea if receptionist didn't know what they were doing or what but some communication needs to happen here. I went in with many symptoms and all the Dr said was "they are allergies" He didnt even check me at all he walked in and walked out in less than 5 min. Doctors are great! Receptionists are awful. They never complete anything and are always lost. I had to reschedule appointments because the Dr asked them to get some information from my insurance and they never did it. What's worst is that I never got communicated until I got to the day of the appointment and had to reschedule. Just today I had to get a refill so I called yesterday in the afternoon to let them know that if there was not a refill ready please send one over because I was going to pick it up tomorrow. They said "of course, I'll do it now" got the the pharmacy today and to my surprise there was no refill. This place is the worst. Tip: if you see a doctor with red hair, run away in the opposite direction. The nurses take an eternity, the doctor could have cared less, she gave us one medication to cover one of the symptoms and disregarded the rest. I went on Saturday August 14th for a covid test as I felt achy. Long wait, but I accept that. NEVER GOT NOTIFIED OF THE RESULTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After calling many times, I called again this morning and finally someone got on the line and said it was negative! Once you get tested, you wait- you have to cancel everything as you are unsure. Super satisfied with their service! I was so afraid of going in with everything happening as I had an issue and didn't want to come into contact with Covid19...but I had to see a doctor and I was relieved at how efficient their intake staff was and how fast I was able to be seen. The doctor was super kind and made me feel at ease. Overall was pleasantly surprised at how well it all went. I felt I was safe and wasn't at risk of exposure to the virus. read more

Brother had an accident while we were hiking. He fell and to stop the fall he grabbed on to a wired metal fence and ended up needing stitches. We came here to get the stitches checked two days after they were done at the ER. The doctors and nurses are very nice. They made my brother feel comfortable and we're very patient.The front staff are not the nicest but not rude either. The urgent care is great. The wait is not bad and they are open all week, weekends are not too busy either. I was seen for a sore throat that turned out to be strep throat, ouch. I was provided with education on the sickness, and was given a prescription. I was better in no time. Thank goodness for antibiotics. I recommend paying your copay there and getting a receipt. I had paid and ended up receiving a big for a bigger copay luckily I saved my receipt. read more

The only reason I am giving this 3 stars instead of 1 is because of the staff, majority of the people there get a 5/5 for their service. Besides that, the wait times are at least 30-60 min, so plan accordingly. The largest problem is their billing, especially if you are PREGNANT, BEWARE. They are a publicly owned by CMH Hospital, so all of your bills that should be covered by insurance, are not the same coverage because they are billed as professional services at a Hospital, not a doctors office. Their billing department claims it is posted in their facilities, and I don't doubt that, but they also said that tons of people complain about this issue, and their remedy is to tell you to go to a private practice. I have no idea how this billing format is beneficial or affects other patients, but I have great insurance and I still ended up paying double the amount I should have for my appointments there. Luckily I realized this after only my first few visits with them, so I am taking their advice and going to a private practice. read more

I have used this urgent care for about 10 years and they have improved greatly in that time. I am usually in and out in less than one hour. The waiting room looks more crowded than it is because many times there are entire families here with one person being seen. i have learned the hard way to check back on my labs and tests as they are very busy and thing do get missed. For the most part they are nice, though there is one PA there that is a jerk. I will ask to see only a female in the future to avoid him. They send in your prescriptions electronically and I have had the experience of them missing one and the pharmacy has to call. This is annoying and on one occasion the PA (Roland) had gone home, not documented in the chart and lead to me swearing loudly at the nurse on my cell phone in CVS. What can I say? I was sick and this was not one of my finer moments. Why do I return? My primary physician Dr Lyons is attached to the urgent care, my chart is there and they treat us well. I adore Dr Lyons, he always makes me feel as though he has all the time in the world for me during my appointments. he sees my husband as well. He always asks "Is there anything else you need?", always. He is generally running close to on time or apologizes if he is not. He is considerate enough to refill my routine meds without wasting my time on a visit. If this review was for my regular services I would give them an extra star. The urgent care is attached and I use them because they have access to my regular medical record. read more

First time here for me & things went well. Waited about One hour 10 minutes on a Sunday afternoon until I was seen by a nurse practitioner. The waiting room was 3/4 full. The receptionist quickly gave me paperwork to fill out. She even highlighted areas I needed to complete so I didn't need to fill out everything. Have your picture ID and insurance card ready. A nurse practitioner named Barbara was efficient and had a no-nonsense mannerism but didn't smile when she came into the room. Our communication was satisfactory and my medical care was, too. She even smiled and laughed before leaving the room for the next patient. Sometimes, when a patient smiles & shows appreciation, it makes the medical staff more at ease & willing to help people. I had taken my mom here before in the evening and the waiting room was packed. So if you need to come here expect to wait longer in the evenings. I gave my experience a 4 star because of the location of this facility. There was minimal parking spaces. We end up parking next-door in front of Stan's Drugs. read more

My kids have the same Doctor witch is Dr.Shuman . I waited 3 weeks for my sons appointment. Today I took my other son to the urgent care. I took him for his eye infection in both eyes and ear infection on both ears . I had already gone Saturday and all they prescribed were eye drops. Remind you they didn't check anything just looked at my kids eyes. Since I took him again today they tested him for Covid witch is fine because he had a cough. However, they called me to let me know they can't see my other son because his brother got tested for Covid. It's okay it's understandable however I tried telling the one that called me from the office of Dr.shuman if when the test results come back negative can they see him that same week because his eyes are also bad and I don't want them to get worst like his brother. She responded unprofessional and rude saying it will take longer. Have professional people answer the phone and be polite and educated. Especially when we are mothers/fathers who are concern about our children that are getting worse and wait weeks for appointments. read more

This place is probably one of the worst medical institutions I've ever been to and I was reduced to military health care for 5 years. First time being seen, I had made an appointment weeks in advance for 2:20. Day of the appointment I arrived about 20 minutes early for anyone necessary paperwork and then began the waiting game. I wasn't taken back until 3:50 and was actively having a panic attack through the screaming children that no one was able to control or didn't want to and in an extreme amount of pain. All told I left thirty minutes later to be told to come back in two days to complete what I needed but when I came back they said I'd have to return AGAIN. The incompetence is stifling. read more

I have been taking my children to this Urgent Care facility for years. There are some amazing doctors here that truly care. (3 stars for the good doctors) My child has been sick with the flu this week. I had to bring him in 2 times this week. The second time we came in we had the unfortunate experience of having to see Dr. Erin DeMaio. She is a very stubborn doctor. She said " You don't want to miss too much school. He'll be fine to go to school tomorrow because he doesn't have a fever. Where do you want me to send his prescriptions?" Then she proceeded to walk out of the room. Even though he had a sore throat, ear ache, hoarse voice, bloodshot eyes, watery eyes, congested, and a non-stop cough. Though I do not feel they have the best doctors, but sometimes all you need is to be seen quick, and a prescription of an antibiotic. That's why I come here. BEWARE! GO ELSE WHERE!!! My mother was seen here last Sunday , she had fell down, was in PAIN and could barely walk, injured her LEFT ankle/foot. Her wait was over 3 hours to be seen. When she was finally seen , they X-Rayed her left foot and ankle. Dr waited for result , once back he told her "NO Fractures -she can Go!" She was like "that's it? aren't you guys gonna wrap it?" He Wrapped it with some weak white gauze , then she had to ask "for something for the pain?" Little did they know I work for a Orthopaedics Dr in another town (that was closed on weekend) & IM SHOCKED THAT A DR AT URGENT CARE CAN BE SO CARELESS AND NOT REALIZE A SPRAINED ANKLE AND FOOT COULD BE WROST THAN A FRACTURE, and when a PATIENT HAS TO TELL A DR HOW TO DO THEIR JOB IS RIDICULOUS & TELLS U EXACTLY HOW MUCH THEY KNOW N CARE ABOUT THEIR PATIENTS , n doesn't stop there ........ I called office requesting "LEFT" FOOT and ANKLE X-rays & we they please fax my dr's office the X-ray reports,,, they said she had to sign release first, I told them I'd fax over and her granddaughter would pick up X-rays on disc(Bc she could barely walk -And should NOT be baring weight in it) They said had to be "their release form" Not her dr's ORTHO release form, & SHE has to walk in their her self & Pick disc up, SMH . So she got her self together & limped in there, and of course wasn't ready like I Asked,,,, headed to my wk /her ORTHO dr -30min away. We loaded Disc, can you believe THEY ONLY SENT US X-RAY OF ONLY FOOT)after all that hassle , n NEVER FAXED OUR OFFICE THE REPORTS -like they said they would do. What kind of ppl work her ? -ppl that don't CARE & are Unprofessional ! Foot X-ray showed small healing fractures, & my dr put her in awesome walking boot/she feels no pain when she walks & is getting around better , Icing n getting better everyday. We finally got ankle X-ray and will review today. (They wrote "RIGHT" ankle ON Disc SMH, omg ITS HER LEFT ,,,, I'm hoping!!!!!!/(one she injured) "unbelievable" SMH!!! Like I SAID GO ELSE where!!! I called and the operator was hoity-toity like her job didn't matter, making me feel ten times worse and wishing I could cough/sneeze in her face and she catches my flu. Really, an effing bitch. They charge a $38.00 facility fee every single time you walk through their doors. The care is horrible. I was not given an X-ray and had to go back because my injury did not get any better. If I could give 0 stars I 100% would. Those women in the front office are liars and beyond lazy. I came in with my boyfriend who had a huge gash on his hand and we gave Rosa the insurance card and identification and she returned the insurance and ID saying WE need to get an authorization from his primary physician in order to be treated. Never having this happen before we step out to call the physician and they recommend the ER, with a high co-pay the ER was not an option at this point. We then call his HR to see what we can do about it and where can we go and what happened. We get a call back from HR to only hear that Rosa had said we declined her processing the authorization and that we didn't want to wait in the waiting room. A lie! There was maybe 2-4 people in there and one person was already leaving. Safe to say I will never be going back and I will never recommend this center to anyone! If I can rate it 0 star I would! Worst urgent care ever! My son had fever on Saturday, so I took him here after talking to his primary doc. after the nurse checked his vital signs we waited in the room for at least 20 min. When the doc came he only stayed for about 1 min. He told me that my son has fever blister and left. When he came back I told hem that my son complained about earache also (because he didn't give me a chance to ask questions at the first time). He checked my son's ears but was very impatient. When he done checking he told me that he can't see with the earwax in the way. However, he prescribed amoxicillin! Giving out drugs like candies! That is not how a doc supposed to do! When I asked him if the drugs have side effects he said No. Few days past, sill no blister shows(I didn't give him neither fever blister medicine nor the amoxicillin the doc prescribed) What a horrible experience! read more

This is for the clinic not the Urgent care. I Went in @ 8:20 am today to schedule an appt in person rather then phone because they are always super rude over the phone. Waited in line for the people signing in and girl in middle window was the one to "assist" me (didn't cath her name) I told her that I need it to schedule an appointment. She said ok have a seat, my response was "I don't need it right now I want to schedule it for later this week" she said "yes have a seat I will call you to make the appointment". Well I waited and waited and heard her talk about her weekend with the co-worker mind you that at this point it had been 10 minutes of me waiting. Finally 10 more minutes later I got up and ask Lety (1st window) how much longer did I need it to wait. She asked me why I was waiting told her that I just need it to schedule and appt. She asked the reason and being a personal matter I showed her my phone and mentioned that it was a follow up from my visit to the ER less then 24 hours before. Within a minute she gave me options and schedule me the appt. Now that was not so hard was it?! I seriously don't understand why the other girl had me seating in the lobby for 20 minutes. I've been with CMH for over 8 years, have been a patient of all their systems from this clinic to the Urgent care, CMH ER and main hospital too. Although all the doctors and nurses are GREAT the receptionist both in the counter and over the phone need to change their attitude because they are the ones us as patients interact with 1st. We see them as the face of CMH so therefore many may be disappointed and discouraged from obtaining the assistance we need from those great Doctors and nurses they have. Lety you are the only one that actually shows compassion for what you do. Keep up the good work. Yours co-workers should learn from you. I will personally no longer be a patient of this clinic I will be going elsewhere. As for anybody that's reading this review I encourage you to give their doctors a chance. I am really disappointed to write this review. My symptoms : On day 5 I still had: Swollen throat/mouth, sore/red throat, yellow discharge from eyes, blood shot eyes, green snot, deep cough, (fever almost gone). The medical assistant was smart, compassionate and knows her medicine, she even commented on how red my throat was. The female doctor w/ the red hair was not compassionate and was cold as ice. She said my throat was not swollen.She NEVER even felt my swollen glands in my throat! Then she proceeded to argue my symptoms. It's MY throat, I think I would know. This is the same as me saying I have abdominal pain and her reply would be "No you don't". What is wrong w/ this woman? Unbelievably, she would NOT tell me what she was prescribing (huh?). She would only say it was an inflammatory agent, and a rinse. Okay whatever, I'm really sick , I must trust her. I waited 2 hours for my Rx only to find out she prescribed ibuprofen and viscous lidocaine. What!! Ibuprofen I can buy myself over the counter, I have it at home. And Viscous lidocaine is a joke...it's WAY too thick to reach the back of my throat. She should have a LEAST told me to by Choraceptic spray which is thin and can reach my whole mouth and throat. This so-called MD needs to be re-evaluated fast! Maybe she could work for the post office or something. Will I return? Yes, bc they take my insurance...ugh! read more
