The location is very nice and clean, it is a bit small than the other locations but that does not take away from the banking experience. Staff is very friendly and knowledgable, I have never had an issue working with them. I called twice last week to confirm I could open a SEP IRA at their branch in Caledonia. I went to…read morethe branch and the lady I spoke with on 3/8/24 around 5:15 PM couldn't answer my questions. She told me I needed to speak to their financial person and she could give me their phone number. After repeatedly asking her to call this person for me now to see if they could get my questions answered she said I can call our IRA department. Then why didn't we start with that?? While on the phone with the IRA department there was a lot of laughing and yea, I told her that, yea she asked about this form, I don't know, laugh laugh laugh. Sounded like they were having quite a bit of fun not knowing how to set up a simple SEP IRA. I tried to cash a check a couple years ago there for my son that was from an account at their bank. They wanted to charge $5 because we don't have an account there. (Which I'd forgotten about until I started reading these reviews today.) I was planning on switching my personal and business accounts to LMCU since my SEP IRA would be there and they have good interest rates on checking and savings (which they make you jump through a TON of hoops MONTHLY to get that interest rate) but after two bad experiences, I am going to back to my original idea of never bank with this institution.
