There's vets who love their job, and then there's vets who don't seem to care about the pets they treat at all; or show any feelings what so ever either, and that's what it's like here. They all seem totally gormless to be honest, and the third and last time I went there, it was because my dog had a thorn stuck in her foot. They brought her back out after cutting it out without any bandages on or anything covering it, and she was bleeding everywhere. She gave me some crap excuse, and then, cheekily enough, made me PAY for a whole big roll of bandages saying that I could put them on myself. WTF?! Yeah, really caring that is.

My dog became seriously ill last Thursday and was rushed to the vet at Camlas surgery. As can be…read moreimagined I was incredibly upset and stressed but the staff were amazing, both with comforting me and their treatment of Charlie. He was an inpatient until yesterday evening, having lost the use of all bodily functions and mobility,he needed critical nursing and medical care for the whole time he was there. During his stay the two locum vets Wendy and John Barton were absolutely marvellous; they went above and beyond the call of duty. They discussed every aspect of his care with me, explaining all treatments and reasons for them, they were brilliantly reassuring and I felt we couldn't have been in better hands. Yesterday evening Anna, senior practice vet, returned to the surgery and following handover with Wendy, called me to discuss Charlie's ongoing treatment and care. She agreed he could spend the night at home and she would reassess this morning. Happily Charlie is home now and although not fully recovered, he certainly presents a much brighter picture than he did on Thursday. The entire experience was traumatic both for Charlie and me, but the friendliness and professionalism of all of the staff who were involved in Charlie's care was second to none and certainly alleviated much of the stress and anxiety associated with such a harrowing time. The fact that I know the team are on call 24/7 enables me to feel confident in continuing Charlie's care at home. Thank you so much to all of you at Camlas.

I have used them with my cat a number of times and had him neutured and vaccinated as a kitten. When I first got him they de-flead him for me and gave me what was left of the spray in the bottle and took the time to show me how best to apply it. The level of customer service is great, they operate as an off-shoot of the Wellington branch so ops are performed there but you can drop your pet into the Shifnal branch and pick them back up from there too. Competitively priced for electronic chipping too.

What a poor outfit. Only feed dogs once per day and you can't feed them the day they go in so they…read morego 36 hours without food. Great for them to save on the work of clearing up, but if your dogs are used to two + meals a day or need them for medication. Tough. They are not allowed to have any of their own bedding or toys. They are only allowed food treats, ( & do they get them ?. Maybe they are fed to their own dogs ?) They are shut up at 6 pm till next morning with NO CCTV so anything can happen even if they bother to do a late night walk around lots can happen with no one in the kennel area. Most vets recommend two small meals per day rather than one large meal so they are going against vetrinarian advice. Hope that DOG LOVING owners don't take their loved pets there.
