Nurse Janet is the most compassionate and skilled nurse, and also provided constant communication to us regarding her visits, which was reassuring as we are a distance away from him. She took the initiative to communicate directly with his health care providers immediately during a particularly concerning visit, as well as contacting us with her concerns. We appreciated the knowledge and experience she brought to the case, and her suggestions for a higher level of care were taken. But they are not always allowed to follow your doctors order and come for your scheduled visits. Through our time with this agency my husband was removed from thier client list or there were issues that Rick had to stop therapy because the agency felt he could not do any more, next was being told he had reached his goals so even though he was not ready I had the whole bunch coming in to dismiss him. " But you can keep therapy and bath aid" those were the only ones actually coming in and they had to jump through hoops to keep taking care of my dear husband. New years Eve I received a call, informing me this company wanted a credit card on file and I was to authorize $150 payments for each PT visit, like everyone else the co pay- deductable starts over in Jan. If I won't authorize this payment then there would be no therapy. Now would be a good time to mention I am disabled myself and our income is not enough to support those payments plus all else. The final shove came the 2nd of January, I am flat in bed, sick from what has gone on, husband is at his doctor appointment, I answer the phone and it's Compassus, I am calling to collect for your visit today. I got a very indignant why not? When I said NO. Told them again, there is no money for them, and no one was coming on the second.
