I had been experiencing tingling in my shoulder area every day for about 1-1/2 years and bouncing around from one physical therapy rehab center to another. Since nothing was helping my pain, nerve damage was a concern. I had six well-meaning medical professionals or medical doctors tell me the tingling may not get better and all you can do is manage it. Various steroids, injections or medication were recommended to control the inflammation or to numb the pain. I decided to call Complete Health of Lawrenceville and spoke to a very nice chiropractor gentleman there who patiently answered my questions and was confident & optimistic he could help me. During my evaluation, I expressed my fear of the quick thrusts of the neck & back cracking common with chiro treatments. Dr. Jeff Clancey put together a non-aggressive treatment plan to address my specific issues. He worked on me that day and I knew immediately that this place was different. Dr. Berkowitz also treated me. Dr. Clancey & Dr. Berkowitz are both outstanding. Dr. Renee Robus helps me to feel more relaxed while I am there (as much as I can be). She is always very gentle and her approach is so calming. When I first saw her, I showed her where and when my arm would produce a buzzing sensation. After a few sessions with her, the nerve pain was completely gone. Initially, I was in disbelief. It has now been a couple of months and the tingling has not returned. Dr. Robus is amazing, amazing! Hands down, the best place to go! I've seen Dr. Berkowitz and Dr. Clancy for chiropractic work - both are phenomenal and worked to relieve neck and lower back pain. I've had 30-minute massage sessions (which included cupping) that helped relieve gym discomfort. And, perhaps most important, their acupuncture is AMAZING. Dr. Reich is the best. I went for physical therapy following a dislocated shoulder. The staff was great in working with me through exercises and offering great flexibility so I could pop out of the office to work on everything. I started at Complete Care after injuring my back. My primary doctor insisted treating me with pain killers only but I wanted a more comprehensive treatment. I met with Dr. Clancey and he was confident he could not only help with my pain but get me back to work in a timely fashion. He was very honest with the severity of my injury and informed me it would take some time to get back to 100%. He devised a plan that comprised of both chiropractic and physical therapy services they offered in their office. I started PT with Brian and chiro with Dr Jeff. I not only was able to get off the meds quickly but I was able to get back to work and I feel stronger than before my injury. Their office is clean, comfortable and very nice. I feel incredibly fortunate to have found Complete Health Yoga at a time when I was looking for a deeper practice and instruction that offered a more creative approach to asana (pose) sequencing. I was needing more and felt I had reached a plateau- both physically and in what I was learning about the other limbs of yoga, aside from asana. Taking Romy's classes and participating in her intensive Immersion series re-ignited my practice and the love of yoga that I felt when I first began to practice. I'm again learning, being challenged and, most importantly, growing! Romy and all of the instructors at CHY are experienced and, inarguably, some of the area's very best. There are classes for all levels of experience, as well as useful and interesting workshops and series. It's one of the few studios where a Yin yoga class is available on a regular basis. The schedule of classes is also very convenient for people like myself, who work 9-5+ jobs. Early morning classes, before work, have improved my days immeasurably! I was referred to Dr. Clancey through a friend of mine. I have so many issues...severe plantar fasciitis, neck and back problems and posture issues basically I needed a good chiropractor. I have been going to him for almost a month now and I cannot begin to tell you how great I feel! I was thoroughly evaluated by Dr. Clancey. He makes sure you're not cracking just to be cracked!! Sometimes that is not what you need at all but manipulation of a different kind. He stretches and literally feels exactly what your body is doing. His manner is so amazing and so relaxing and calm...you know you're in good hands as soon as he touches your back. Also I can't even begin to tell you how amazing the office staff is. The office runs like a fine oiled machine. They have so many things you can get: acupuncture, physical therapy, massage, chiropractic. They have everything! The office is also so very clean and rooms immaculate which makes me feel even better. Their staff is happy whether I come in 1st thing in the morning or if I'm the last patient at night. Complete Health Yoga is by far the BEST yoga center I have ever attended. The instructors are gentle, pay attention to each individual's pose and ensure you walk out getting the best yoga session. Love the enrgy and vibe in the studio. Romy's morning sessions are the best, hands down! having moved away from the area, I have struggled to find a good yoga studio that has classes in the morning. The basic meditation sessions in the beginning of the class set the positive tone for the entire day. I really really wish I was closer to Lawrenceville to be a part of the complete health yoga family. I would recommend this place to anyone who'd be interested in learning anything from basic yoga to advanced yoga. PS- there are separate sessions outside of the regular classes which are fantastic. I was suffering from excruciating sciatica for about 10 months before Complete Health helped me. A different physical therapist was ineffective and an orthopedist recommended back surgery. Fortunately, I decided to give this place a go before doing anything drastic. It's been less than two months since my first visit at Complete Health, and my issue is 90% better. This place is amazing. Dr. Berkowitz is so nice and helpful. I was suffering from chronic pain due to lymes disease that was misdiagnosed and mistreated for several months and no one really knew what was wrong with me. This office was definitely the most helpful in managing my chronic pain and not jumping to conclusions or encouraging the use of painkillers. I had an excellent treatment plan and I loved getting the massages afterwards. Staff is wonderful and helpful. I wanted to love this place, but it just didn't happen. At the beginning the front desk staff were great, then they changed some personnel and lets just say I didn't feel like I was in a nice part of town anymore. The office manager was well, less than desirable. I had to practically force them to make phone calls for authorizations for me and continuously follow up for status checks. I started as a chiro patient and since Dr Clancy couldn't admit that he had no idea what the issue was he suggested PT, massages, acupuncture & even referred me out for imaging several times and specialists. He was grasping at straws all the while making some serious money off of me. I tried PT religiously. Took all their advice, was open to different options, even did things on my own at home. Tried massages, nothing. Each male in this office failed to have any knowledge regarding the female anatomy. Switched chiros (still a male provider) & the first visit after ONLY hearing my symptoms, not seeing any imaging or past chart notes, knew right away I needed another specialist for pelvic floor issues. The only saving grace at this place is Dr Reich. She is pleasant, knowledgeable & actually tries to help rather than just go through the motions. At PT, they have a menu of exercises and there's absolutely no personalized care. It's like they weren't even listening to what I was saying. Just go through the motions, shrug their shoulders hope you get better. Waste of time and money. I went there for over 8 months. read more
