In less than 48 hours my mother was taken, by ambulance, to the ER for shortness of breath. I stopped by one week later to give them an update to find her room cleaned out & her belongings boxed up! We never rec'd written notice or a phone call re: "bed hold", which I am only now familiar with. Now the staff & administration are lying trying to cover their tracks because they did not adhere to the state standards and requirements. The food, when delivered to her room, was ice cold, inedible. The evening aide turned the a/c, in her room, to 62 both nights. That was the care she got overnight. I do not recommend Cypress to care for your loved ones.

There was a young guy who came in every night before leaving who washed if I needed anything before he left for home. I can not say that there wasn't a person who wasn't caring and nice. I can only speak of my experience there and I was so thankful that they got me strong enough to go home. Also the family must stay involved with your care. At any nursing facility it's a must. Thanks to all who was involved of my care. The food was okay. If they had something that I didn't care for they offered me something else. I suggest that if something is going g wrong get in touch with the owner.

After I got my 2nd knee replacement in 4 years, I went to a rehab hospital then came home and had a man for my physical therapist named Alex Kupilas, PT, ATC, BDM. Alex was so wonderful to me. Since my first knee replacement collapsed I had been walking (walker & wheelchair) on not only a broken knee but also a broken shin that required lots of pins and metal. Alex was very encouraging. A really great guy! He taught me to walk propertly again.

The facility is nice, clean and has good equipment. Every staff member was nice. I had Ashly and Scott as therapist's and they were both wonderful. They showed me what I could do on my own at home so that I could continue working on range of motion access while not there and it means so much to have that personal help. I experienced more than therapy when I was there. I experienced funny/fun conversations, caring personalities and comfort. I appreciate the time I spent there :)

One question was about services for vertigo. They made an appointment when I didn't ask for one. They then called to get my insurance info. When I asked them why they wanted this they stated it was for an appointment. I let them know I didn't have an appointment. I waa just getting information. The second time they same thing happened 4 months later about a different service with aqua Therapy. This place has the only therapy pool around the Greenville area. Needless to say I will never deal with the place again. They have no idea what they are doing.

Headline: A "Factory" Experience - Avoid if you have serious injuries…read more I would strongly advise anyone dealing with complex surgical recovery to look elsewhere. My experience at NovaCare was disorganized and, frankly, unprofessional. Zero Continuity of Care: Over the course of my treatment, I was rotated through at least 6 different therapists. It is impossible to build a consistent recovery plan when you have to re-explain your history to a new person every session. Lack of Attention: I was frequently seen at the same time as 2 or even 3 other patients. I am paying for professional expertise, not to be one of several "stations" a therapist visits for five minutes at a time. Trainee "Guinea Pig": On multiple occasions, a trainee was essentially practicing on me. The supervisor would explain a technique, the trainee would fail to execute it correctly, and they would have to start over. This happened on my time, yet I was never given extra time to finish the exercises we missed due to their teaching moments. Harassment via Communication: The billing and marketing departments are relentless. I received daily text and email "overkill" regarding payments. Even 3 months after stopping treatment, I am still being hounded by emails to the point where I've had to threaten a harassment report just to get them to stop.
