Dr…read more Steve Smith, the surgeon in charge was professional and fully qualified for the OSU patient transport team, where they let the patient know every turn and bump along the way. There was no surprise with Dr. Smith. He is very careful on injecting the anesthetic into the surrounding gum. There was no pain period. Except for the final one which he applied without fore warning which is helpful and prevented the tightening of the jaw. The best part was he listened to the patiently and cheered and laugh with the patient to patients jokes. He rubbed the cheek to soften the jaw which tightened by body's reflective response. I told Dr. Smith that an experienced professional dentist is just like a professional boxer with a one, two punch. I made the right choice to come to Cemtral Ohio Endocrinologists. The receptionist, Tammy B., was very attractive, with a warm, courteous manner, and continued focus. I called at 11:12AM, and was given an appointment for a rootcanal at 1PM after I explained the urgency for the procedure. The online registration software was efficient and easy to follow. It is comprehensive and the flow was logical. The nice touches are everywhere. For example the many places for signature are automatically prefilled once the first one is completed. The rootcanal was completed by 2:40PM and I am out of the building, no pain, and more than satisfied. My visit was referred by my long time friend, Dr. Guan Hong Hsu, Entrepreneur, Chairman of the BBAC (Bodi Buddhist Association of Central Ohio) Dr. Hsu is a community leader and has practiced "Three No Charity" which means "No giver, No receiver, and No Object being given". There are, of course, actually all these three entities. But true follower of Budha or so called Bodhisattva, do not see, or dwell upon any of them. Dr. His is one such practitioners. He once came to my house to lecture on the Heart Sutra, one of the most important sutra in the Zen tradition. Dr. Hsu leads BBAC for a long time, he took care a lot of members when they are in needs, including this reviewer. God bless these wonder people. Usually the staff is very nice but this lady, who answers to phone all the time, was rude, argumentative and inappropriate. Shame on her. When someone is pleading and begging and in tears you don't yell at them! And I had been calling as a courtesy. Given I was headed to the hospital ER with my child I didn't need to call them but wanted to because that's what honest, good people do. I am so blown away by getting yelled at by the moody lady that sits at the very front. Completely changed my opinion of the place.

After moving to Columbus in 2009, I had seen one, horrible, dreadful endocrinologist before almost completely giving up. At the suggestion of a cardiologist I worked for, he took one look at me and said, "I have the perfect recommendation for you. You will love her." Wow. I was blown away. Not only does Dr. Christofides care about your individual health plan (instead of treating you like every other patient), she was personable, out going, funny and dedicated to getting my health back on track. I must admit I have since disappointed her, by neglecting my health, but she is very understanding and forgiving.
