Ran up the stairs. The lady damn near guaranteed that my paperwork would take 30 days to send to my PCP's office and it stinks of retaliation. To be abundantly clear she said it could take UP TO 30 days but she said it in that way receptionists do when they want you to know they will do their best to make it take 45 days if possible. I just want to flag that i miss the black receptionist and she would have never treated me like this. To add insult to injury My ACTUAL DOCTOR doctor STEINER had nothing to do with this. It is DOCTOR GILA that refused to see me and DOCTOR STEINER WAS FREE AS A BIRD DOING NOTHING. FLOATING AROUND THE FRONT DESK WHILE IM BEING KICKED OUT. LITERALLY GOT NOTHING GOING ON. WHILE IM BEING THROWN OUT INSTEAD OF GOING OVER MY NEUROLOGY RESULTS. I STILL HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IS WRONG WITH MY BRAIN.

SPECIFICALLY OPERATIONS MANAGER VERONICA AND MALE  TECH ANAFOLLY It is not okay to treat the I/DD community with such disregard and disrespect. Individuals within this community face challenges that many of us could never fully imagine or understand. They deserve patience, dignity, compassion, and proper care at all times.  The world would be a far better place if more empathy and humanity were shown toward those who often cannot fully advocate or speak up for themselves. Experiences like this are not only discouraging, but harmful to a community that already faces enough obstacles daily. I truly hope this office reflects on how patients and their families are treated moving forward.

I suffered from a very traumatic accident almost 7 years ago, the doctors told me i have 4 dislocated discs in my neck and back. Stretching exercise and of course working out would be good for me, they recommended. I've seen chiropractors, holistic doctors all said the same thing Ruth took one look at me during the initial assessment and pointed it out right in my posture. As i was laying on the massage bed, i could almost feel the bones moving back into place! Like i could feel my body healing. And every place she touched was like my body was telling her "go there, yes right here, thank you :sighs released: She even tapped into a spoke i haven't told anyoNe in a very long time. (Not to get traffic but this may be your cure to dip out boys or if you have a wife daughter of gf suffering anything at all related to cramps, pregnancy troubles, discomfort, you can swap her the phone to read now) Im someone who has always suffered mensural cramps, my whole life. Cramps that had me out of school the first two days of school since 7-8th grade. I thought it was normal to have such intense pain, heavy flows, that's what the garden of Eden seemed to do to us, or so i assumed. Ruth has happened me so much in this regard, this alone made me so emotional. Doctors have said it could cause infertility, and I'm still pretty young. So to have that help and give my body a fighting chance to bear children safely, you bet you last bottom dollar- I'm sticking to Ruth. She is Grade a magic hands! And she is skilled in far more than body work and healing. She is worth it. Healing is a journey, so some cases like me, take multiple sessions, however they are very effective. She is Beyond years of experience and professionalism with a dash of comfort. If you are unsure if she can help you with your pain that no one else seems to know how to help with, give her a call. Explain your circumstance- she is SUPER understanding and I'm sure there is nothing she has not seen or dealt with. Highly recommend her! -to Ruth: thank you so much. Within the first week my foot and leg was beginning to feel and preform much better. The staff is kind, attentive and extremely supportive. I recommend the Valley Stream office to everyone. They also specialize in building your balance and I have seen equipment that I haven't seen at the other PT places I've been to before. So therefore if you need help this is place I highly recommend.

They are friendly and accommodating on the phone and the complete opposite in person. I'd rather stay in pain than let the alleged PTs or clueless assistants, who by the way put way more effort into texting than attending to the patients. I recommend NY PHYSICAL THERAPY & WELLNESS . The only reason I didn't return to them b/c they didn't accept my insurance.
