When I signed the contract to sell my home, the agents did not discuss with me that I would be locked in for a full 12 months. In fact, while I was trying to review and sign the contract paperwork in the Montgomery Office, the Realtor kept talking to me and asking questions while she was simultaneously completing the property disclosure form. (Luckily I noticed that they had put in a 7% fee rather than the 6% and was able to correct it but my attention was consistently being diverted.) After 8 months, I'm very unhappy with the representation I have received yet apparently have no options for another 4 months. And embarrassed, because no one can believe that I got stuck like that when their realtors only required 3 to 6 month contracts. They enticed me to sign with a potential selling price well over what I had expected and since then their advice has repeatedly been to lower the price, which I have twice. When I asked them for ideas in addition to lowering the price, I was asked for my ideas. I have generated several but they seem to have almost none. The property is now listed $35,000 less than originally and is about to drop again. I'm screwed but caution others to compare Realtor contracts closely before deciding who will represent you. They are not all created equal.

We used Huff to sell our home. The service we received was horrible. According to the agreement we…read morehad with Huff they were suppose to call us each time someone would be going in our home. We were not staying at our home for a short time. Huff was notified and our agent encouraged us not to be home so the house would be ready to show on a moments notice. During our vacation we got a call from the agent telling us that the buyers agent, took the buyers into our home (without telling anyone) and they left our gas fireplace on for 5 days! Our home could have burnt down. No one seemed to care and we were told that we "abandoned our home" so it was our problem. When we put in calls to Susan Huff she nor one of her staff returned our phone calls. We were left with a hefty gas bill and thankfully our home didn't burn down. Our listing agent also had the wrong information posted on our listing; it took a long time to get the information corrected. The pictures that the listing agent took were uploaded to the site and were pixelated!! She didn't know how to fix the file from thumbs to make the pictures high res. We (THE SELLERS) had to RETAKE all of the pictures and have her post our high res photos. This was the worst experience in selling a home with a agent. I highly recommend finding a different company to sell your home with. This wasn't worth the expensive percentage they collect, especially on an agent who I feel didn't do much, but collect a paycheck. I will never recommend anyone to HUFF. Spend your money on a company who cares about home selling and not about getting their paycheck.
