I had an issue where I was visiting 4 strangers with a new friend I had met that night. I was actually strangled and robbed that Christmas Eve by one of these people in the suite. My stolen goods were kept in the apartment and so I left what belongings I had in the hall and went down immediately to report it to the concierge so he might do something. Anything. He advised to call police and I was barred from going upstairs to collect my goods in the hall. It would have taken 1 minute, instead I had to wait for an hour and a half for police to arrive. By the time they arrived and I was allowed upstairs, more items were stolen by presumably the same people but I did get my near empty backpack. The following week upon calling the concierge to call up to the suite for my stuff and mentioning the report I made, one was able to retrieve some of my things which I had noticed were missing and that was great but FOUR GUARDS I was in touch with were abysmally unqualified and helpless to do anything for me. They couldn't even understand what I was trying to tell them as I wasn't speaking their native tongue; instead just confusion, interruptions and the same careless attitude, I had to call a few times to get the record straight with police event numbers, confusion over suite numbers and to say that an officer who investigated previously and had found the tenants to be lying about not having my goods, would be calling with directions of what to say when the concierge was given permission by police to call up. Despite trying to save the police officer's time by relaying the information directly to the concierge over the phone to pass on to the next shift worker, he was unable. There was no one who could help me not even at the head office, endless ringing, no callbacks, and little know pro-activity. I may have called 4 times with different police details about when the call would come in after 5 pm and without any reason he threatened to call the police on me for harassment...I was the victim. I find it terrifyingly absurd that they are working out of upscale condos. I've done the same job at the concierge/security guard level and this was just purely pathetic. The guards seem very content to do absolutely nothing even in the event of an emergency. I mean I know they're security guards but wow... just wow. Didn't even get a call from head office after telling the receptionist of my experience. I hope this company goes under. Don't even work for these guys, they clearly do not provide enough vetting OR training. This is my experience, so I'm the first reviewer? I could have made it shorter- Brainless AND Heartless, though I wouldn't want to steal their potential motto. Stick it, Pillar, you do-nothing losers.

Ilan later suggested that he install a camera system to enhance security. During the installation Ilan appeared inexperienced in camera systems, both in installation and operation, as the cameras were not compatible with the paired DVR, resulting in blurry images. The manufacturer eventually came out with a new system, which rectified the issue. Rather than offering to replace the old poorly working one, he charged me for a whole new system. Later, after requiring a replacement battery for the alarm, Blaze Alarms quoted me $82.00, however, I was able to purchase the exact same battery for $12.00. Blaze Alarms soon started raising my alarm monitoring rates to the point that they were no longer affordable and I was forced to cancel our monitoring service. This past month Bell transitioned my internet from wired to fibre optics, causing the camera system to become inoperative. The Bell tech advised that the original installer, with his knowledge of the system, could easily rectify the programming. I reached out to Ilan and requested a service call. He responded, "I don't have time to do service, too busy with work. You can try to find someone else to help you." I gave Blaze Alarm 2 stars because it accurately reflects the quality of work, lack of professionalism and respect for a long term customer, who always paid his bills on time.
