Both still turned on and haptics worked, just screen was off. I called, talked to the rep and he said to bring them over, gave me an estimate over the phone, and sent me a follow up text. Fast forward a few hours later, I take both phones in, very welcoming experience and amazing service. He explained what they'd be doing, offered me a drink and the ability to wait and chill and watch a movie if we wanted but we headed out but would've stayed if I had the option. About 2-3 hours later, I followed up, they told me one was fixed and were finalizing the other one. As I was driving there, they called me, told me they were ready. I walked, in, same welcoming experience, they even set me up with screen protectors and cases, it was a great overall experience. I found the price really reasonable but for this type of experience, I would've paid more just for this premier type of service.

I own multiple controllers and wasn't in a rush, so I left it. Calls eventually stopped. At the 6-month mark I went in. They told me they had thrown it away "because it had been so long." An employee then offered a different controller and tried to charge me $20 "for the part." When I pointed out they never worked on mine, the story changed to "we have to replace it since we threw yours out." After I asked to speak to a manager, she suddenly said she could just give it to me. I left with a basic controller. The one I dropped off came with its full case. This place lost my property, never repaired it, tried to charge me for their mistake, and returned an incomplete replacement. Extremely poorly run.

How fortunate I was that TECHFIX was only a few miles/kms away, and I cycled there immediately. It was GREAT to not be in a queue, and was quite pleased to follow the CDC/local guidelines regarding the cursed COVID19 pandemic crisis--absolutely no point in needlessly getting sick regardless that extreme state officials ignored the lessening fatalities. Anyway, ADRIAN took my 8+ After I removed the case and began probing/working on the device. Within an hour, ADRIAN returned the 100% working cellphone to me. I was delighted with the rapid/relatively inexpensive service as in today's World, we cannot go far without referring to what has become an essential tool.
