After trying in vain to get my laptop fixed in Indiana, I came back to my mom's house and decided to look for a local repair place. My family had had a negative experience years back with this business but everything I'd read on line hadn't alerted me to any red flags and I really wanted to avoid having to buy a new laptop since the type I wanted seemed to be nonexistent. It turned out that John thought he had a screen that would fit (unfortunately it didn't) and the price was in line with what I expected. While repairing my screen, John said that one of the video connectors was also messed up so I needed a new motherboard. Fortunately, the quoted price didn't change and I was able to get this laptop back sooner than I feared I would. He was also kind enough to add more memory to the computer since the hard drive had almost none & was able to save the documents I'd had on my system before things got messed up. There's a reason this place has won local awards for good service. If you don't want to use Geek Squad, buy a new laptop or try fixing stuff yourself, you should definitely check out this place.

The technician Brian or Bryan was helpful, professional, and genuinely tried to assist me. He communicated well and did what he could on his end. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the owner, Brandon. Brandon was largely unresponsive throughout the process. At one point, I was even accused of not paying for the service, despite the fact that payment had already been made through Apple Pay. When this issue came up, Brian or Bryan also had trouble reaching Brandon, which speaks to a larger communication problem within the business. It is extremely unprofessional for both a customer and an employee to be unable to reach the owner, especially when payment disputes are involved. This situation could have been resolved quickly with basic communication. I appreciate the effort and professionalism shown by the employee, but the lack of responsiveness and organization from ownership made this a bad overall experience.
