I was becoming very frustrated with the performance of my 2.7 GHz Intel Core i7 Macbook Pro. I was at the point of replacing it with a new laptop. In June, I spoke with Gene about these performance issues that I was having and he was confident that he could greatly improve the performance of my Macbook Pro. After a quick evaluation, Gene was confident that I had plenty of processor power and suggested that a Solid State Drive would give me a huge performance boost. I had the pleasure of meeting Gene about seven years ago. Over that time he expressed his great knowledge of computers and networks. I had mentioned that I wanted an amazing computer one day, and he offered to help me out. He built me an amazing gaming rig, watercooled and optimized. I contacted Gene at ComputRXPLUS because the Wi-Fi to my (slow) computer was only receiving around 8 to 12 MB and losing signal several times throughout the day. While we were on the phone, he looked up on Amazon the best modem and Wi-Fi system to cover my whole house (2200 sq ft). So I ordered the parts and called Gene after they arrived. After his installation, my desktop computer is now receiving around 140 MB. Very good for Wi-Fi. It could be my imagination, but the TV seems a bit clearer also. read more
