The home is in Nocelle, which is a 30 minute bus ride to/from Positano, and it was so nice to stay far away from the touristy and bustling city. The views here are absolutely unmatched, and make the walk from the bus stop to the b&b worth it. Raf provided us with a great breakfast each morning, and also helped us carry our bags during check-in and check-out! We will absolutely come back to stay here again, and love everything about Villa Sofia. The view never gets old, and the service is 100% attentive as Raf and Luciana are always on Whatsapp ready to help. You can buy bus tickets for €1.30 each trip in the tobacco (tabacchi) shop across from the bus stop in Piazza del Mulini in Positano, and the Mobility Amalfi Coast bus (to Nocelle) will take you all the way to Villa Sofia's stop, which is the last one on the mountainside.

The owners are very loving, friendly, and welcoming! They go out of their way to make sure every guest is happy and has an exceptional stay. It almost feels as if they're your parents or grandparents. The location was amazing! The high altitude provided spectacular views of the ocean, Positano, and surrounding villages along the coast. Casa Cuccaro was extremely peaceful and quiet - which we loved! You couldn't hear anything at night! This Casa is along the path to the "path of the Gods" - we highly recommend this hike!! (Just be sure to bring water and wear good shoes). It is no surprise why this route is called "the path of the gods"-- WOW! Casa Cuccaro is also along the path/ steps to a secluded Positano beach! The walk is so beautiful- just be sure to take drinking water with you and eat before you go- although it's just "steps"- it's very physically challenging!

The Hotel was amazingly beautiful. The rooms provided plenty of space to move around in. It was clean and the beds are nice and comfortable. The bathrooms are updated, spotless and they offer guests bath robes. My wife liked that they provide a big bottle of shampoo and conditioner. The Hotel offers a happy hour on the patio from 6 pm -7 pm nightly. We sat out on a 2nd story patio patio watching people coming in from the harbor as we enjoyed our wine and cheese. The rooms for the price, which was just under 100 euro's, is a bargain. What you get at this hotel is 5 star service at a 3 star rate. Sasha and Gia are awesome. They were friendly and treated our party great. I would highly recommend Palazzo Marziale if you are staying in Sorrento.
