UChealth family medical center on pennock place has absolutely set the standard for what medical institutions should strive for, and they exceed that standard every time. From the receptionists, nurses, and physicians, there is not a single person there that I have had anything short of a pleasant experience with. They are attentive, caring, understanding, and do everything they can to make you feel comfortable. My primary physician Dr Blake Volkmer is one of the kindest, friendliest, understanding and capable physicians I have ever come across and despite just being a first year resident, Dr. Volkmer upholds the standard that which aspiring physicians should strive for. If I could go to this clinic once a week just to hang out and talk to the people who work there, I would. Im only going to be living in Fort Collins until I graduate from CSU, and no matter where life takes me, UChealth family medical center will be the standard in the process of finding new medical care, every single time.

I'm a 66 year-old at risk, senior adult, female or disability. I recently went to UC health family…read moremedical clinic and met with a doctor. I had never met with me before I have severe severe neuropathy where I have to wrap my feet and my legs up to my knees every moment I'm not walking or standing. I even have to sleep with these ice packs on my feet my legs. The neuropathy is so severe. This bully doctor intimidated me stating that I didn't have Neuropathy, and accused me of being an alcoholic and that's why my feet and legs burnt when I called him out and said there is no if and or butt about it I have severe neuropathy my feet burn 24 seven he then had the clinic send a certified letter Saying that the clinic no longer wanted to have me as a patient. This is bullying intimidation and retaliation against a Disabled at risk senior Adult for speaking up against his bullying. This is unacceptable -10 stars.

When I thought they wouldn't call me with my blood exams results, a week and a half later, my actual doctor called me and talked to me personally. This kind of service is above what other places will do for a Medicaid Patient. So I was pleased with her! If I had real health insurance I could probably see any specialist I want, when it comes to specialty needs (cardiologist, etc)... however , the FMC docs are trained and will take care of your needs if you're assertive and know what you're talking about when it comes to your health. Ask for diagnostic tests when you're sure you need them...

I had a very disappointing experience here on Christmas Eve while seeking urgent care. I have…read moreprivate insurance (BCBS PPO) that covers urgent care visits, yet I was told at the front desk that I needed to pay $250 upfront because my insurance was "out of network" and my deductible hadn't been met. During this interaction, the front desk staff asked me what my "preferred language" was even though I was speaking clearly in English the entire time and never used another language. The question felt unnecessary and inappropriate, and I have serious doubts that this is asked of every patient. Because I was confident my visit should only require a $50 copay, I chose to leave. What stood out most was how quickly my ID was handed back without any attempt to verify the insurance information, consult a supervisor, or offer to bill me later especially given that the waiting room was completely empty. I then went to another Banner Health location on Drake Rd and was immediately told that I was in network and that my deductible had already been met. This raises serious concerns about how insurance verification is handled at this location and whether assumptions are being made about patients. I would not recommend this location based on my experience.

This is for the Village Medical (they're not called Associate in Family Medicine anymore)…read moreHorsetooth NoCo Radiology. My experience dealing with Village Medical in general has been negative star worthy but this place just adds cherries to the shit sundae. I was referred here on May 3rd by the Foxtrail clinic for chest x-rays. The experience getting the x-rays itself was a B-. Assumptions about what sort of clothing I'm wearing (and thus my gender), having to advocate for myself needing my spouse with me due to severe medical PTSD. But it was fine other than that. What made this a negative-star worthy experience was fighting to get a copy of my x-rays, which I have a legal right to. I started asking for them the following week and didn't get them until the 19th of July because they kept running me in circles and they kept producing more and more paperwork to fill out so my spouse could pick them up for me. And, to top it off, it's on a CD. Who even uses CDs anymore? Modern computers do not come with CD trays. I'm going to have to go to the library and see if there's anything even on the disc then rip it all off, which I'm not thrilled about since this is private medical information we're talking about. This place is terrible. I think you'd be better off going to a veterinary clinic than going here.

Frankly, they've plummeted in service, the New Management, who has a DPT, couldn't help put a shoulder brace on. I've gone 2x's a week 620 a year, $3,500. Over 5+ years. I only kept going for Deric PTA. However, when the "Doctor of Physical therapy, straight out refuses to assist. I find a new practice. See after 15 yrs in nursing, its obvious, who sux. That would be the management "Sara" Who runs out of the door at 4:30 daily. Not surprised they have. Little to no staff. The Management frankly sux. There are many more this one, who is excited, helpful and committed to her work. Perhaps Sara should give up her DPT, and focus on her family.
