While usually the customer care here is decent. There was a receptionist today who said she was having a "day". I waited patiently for them to call me up and once called I had very nicely stated I was here for my appointment. While the two other receptionists were alright, this other really was having quite "a day" as she put it. The rude receptionists continued to say my FULL name very loudly and taking care to annunciate each syllable in my name in one of the most rude tones I have heard, much like a teenage girl would when they are trying to be a nuisance to their parents. After sitting down to wait she had no shame in talking in a volume voice continuing to be very rude to patients and openly insulting others around her. The only redeeming quality of this establishment is its medical staff. They house some of the nicely PT, physician and nurses I have had the pleasure of interacting with. Please take care when handling your patients. The first impressions are often met at the front desk, often making an experience make or break. In conclusion, medical team is amazing but the front desk customer service needs a major review. I understand if you're not having a great day but taking that out on well manured patients who have nothing to do with your bad day is unacceptable. read more

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience deserves to be shared. My wife went to Concentra because she was experiencing severe lower back pain that she had never experienced before and was genuinely concerned. She first visited another Concentra location, where she was told her insurance would be be accepted at the Thornton Parkway clinic, so she drove there expecting to receive care. She arrived at approximately 4:00 p.m. After reviewing the clinic's hours afterward, we learned that the normal last-patient cutoff is generally between 4:15 and 4:30 p.m. Despite arriving within that window, she was told they had stopped seeing patients at 3:30 p.m. If that was the case that day, why was she sent there in the first place? The front desk staff was rude, dismissive, and showed no compassion. My wife wasn't looking for special treatment--she was simply seeking medical care while in significant pain. Instead, she was made to feel like an inconvenience. What concerned us the most was being told that she would be "better off going to the emergency room" without anyone checking her vital signs, asking meaningful questions about her symptoms, or having her evaluated by a medical provider. Recommending that someone go to the emergency room without any medical assessment is both frustrating and concerning. She wasted valuable time driving from one Concentra location to another because of inconsistent communication, only to be turned away while in pain. That's time she could have spent receiving appropriate care elsewhere. Healthcare starts with treating people with respect and compassion. Unfortunately, that is not what she experienced at this location. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses both the poor communication between clinics and the lack of professionalism and empathy shown at the front desk. The nurses are very rude, inconsiderate and seem unable to do their job. When I arrived on crutches, which I was struggling to do, I asked for a wheel chair and all 3 of the ladies in the front acted like they didn't hear me. The center looks ghetto and like it is struggling to stay afloat. The doors are not automatic doors and everyone there is way too busy to help. I literally almost fell down because a customer was walking through quickly while I had just opened the door, he bust through and I almost fell. When I went back to get X-rays I had to ask 3 times before getting super firm and demanding a wheel chair. Then when I got into the x-ray room the rudest nurse, grabbed my foot and was pulling it back and forth without out care or consideration for my injury. Finally, the exam was over and I needed to check out. When I checked out, I told the nurse what the doctor had said. She only scheduled 1 of my apts and I had to call back to get the other apt on made. I have also received medication for a knee when it is my ankle that is injured. I was never told I was being sent medication and so all I can assume is the nurses were too busy and accidentally sent me a medication meant for another patient. I never wanted to go back to this clinic again but had per workers comp claim. It was the same rude nurses, the same attitude of too busy to care and the same nurses unable to read and follow basic instructions. I am now attending Peak and WILL NEVER step foot in a Concentra again. read more

Your health things that are going on with you. The doctors don't listen and their goal is to save the corporation money and get you out as quickly as possible, even if you're not completely well they're not compassionate towards people. They're not passionate and they could care less of how you're progressing or regressing they're constantly rude they're overbooked so by the time they get to you, I mean their first greeting to you is not even their name but it's so busy in here. Even the women at the front desk rude my only five star would be towards this female nurse Jasmin She is a fiveworker and she cares. Concentra lost one of my urinalysis, so I had to go back and retake. Of course, they never told me when these lost it. I had to call repeatedly for days to finally get an answer out of them. Then the so-called "nurse" screwed up my paperwork, but went ahead and sent it in and got my problem resolved, albeit not Government approved. Then, the lost a co-worker's and friend of mine urinalysis. And she had to come back in for a redo. I've never experienced this anywhere else except Concentra. They are incompetent. read more

Rude. Dumb. You will wait hours to be seen and then have to wait even longer just to check out. They are all so clueless and don't move with any sense of urgency. Just lots of people sitting around looking at each other wondering what the hells going on. It's just a big shit show. I would avoid this place at all cost if your time is valuable to you at all. I sat here and watched multiple people givin the run around. So frustrating! They need someone here that can help get things going/ running they have no clue! Unprofessional, poor customer service. I waited over an hour to seethe doctor. All they kept saying was, "YOUR NEXT" until i finally walked out after an hour & 5 min.waiting in the exam room. I have a bad back. Their chairs are terrible & uncomfortable. It should be an infection control issue because they are made out of some cotton polyblend. They cant be sterilized correctly. I would give 0 stars if I could. The first time I came in for my DOT physical, I was told it would be 2 to 2 & half hour wait. There were 2 people in the waiting area. The girl at the front desk was very rude and condescending. I came back the following week and was told about 90 minutes total time including the physical. I waited. When I got back to see the Dr, I had to wait for her to get help logging into the computer. She didn't even know her password. I finally got the physical but not before another Dr, the Med Tech and an Administrative person, came in to help with the computer. The had to call tech support. Evidently a new system. 2 hours total and I was done. I was told I needed to come back with a report from my Cpap machine to get my DOT card. I returned the next day with the report. I was told to sign in and have a seat. I waited for an hour. By this time I was furious. All they had to do was show the report to the Dr and give me the DOT card. I was told they couldn't find me in the system and would have to start the whole process over but they would get me right back, please fill out all the paperwork again. I left never to return. If it wasn't for the fact that I was here for a post accident drug test, I would never come here for health care. This place is badly in need of a renovation (old carpeting, old chairs, has the feeling of a warehouse more than a hospital) and the staff was not very friendly. Drug testing must be their thing, because they have a system, that you can tell, is performed many times daily. I'd steer clear of this place as an Urgent Care. read more

Horrible place to get a drug screen done. Don't go there unless you want your drug screen lost. Danica did my testing, and it was supposed to be a rapid drug screen, done in house, 15-20 min results. This was on a Wednesday at 8:30am that I came in. It is now the FOLLOWING Wednesday (7) days later and still have no results and now are saying they lost my specimen? WTF? Why did an in house test, get sent out and then lost? Mind you my employer called to check and it said my testing didn't even get sent out until Friday? I've called and my employer have called multiple times. David whom I spoke over the phone to, literally argued with me about how specimens get picked up everyday in the afternoon, yet mine didn't get picked up until Friday afternoon? This facility has prohibited me from starting a new job as I was offered it upon drug screen and had a start date of the following week. Glad someone in your facility got a clean drug test! Never go here for anything. These people are very incompetent of doing their jobs in all ways. read more

Everyone there works so hard on giving great care!!
