If you are injured on the Job and they send you here, Please see your primary care provider as well so that you can get the referrals you need. It took me 5 months to get a MRI. Concerta works in the best interest of the company, not the injury party(You). The first visit with them was a good one! The only thing good about this place is Physical therapy!! All other visits were terrible you see a different provider every time and they do communicate or read each other notes! They act as if everybody wants to be off work or on restriction , who wants to be off and just receive 50% of your pay. I asked to be off restriction (even though I was still hurting badly ) so I would not end up homeless and I have been working at full capacity (in pain) since June 6 but every time I had a visit they would say I'm taking you off restrictions again , no communication and not listening to your patient. The problem is they have a one track mind and group all patients to be alike. The doctor herself because the other ones or PAs or NPs she is so condescending, don't listen , she don't discuss things found on test , MRI X-RAYS ect... just come in the room like every thing is good you have the ask what does this mean or that mean and everything on my MRI she says had been there, no they have not , I haven't had any pain until this injury, so I had the ask did my injury cause this to flare up she will half ass answer like it could have. Just terrible service, malpractice, lack of empathy, burnt out unprofessional!!!!!! Make sure to get a Lawyer and again go to another Doctor you trust , you will have to use you insurance but it is worth it!! Concerta on Rivers Ave needs to do better!!!! read more

I went for a pre employment drug test for a trucking company on Jan 5 2024. There was little to no wait time. Registered/check-in was easy; from a link that was sent to my phone by the receptionist. I had my 9 year old daughter with me but that wasn't a problem. The receptionist called me back to the window and told me "you have to get a physical for a DOT Medical card done as well" and i told her "the work order was for drug test only and my med card doesn't expire for 4 more months" and she said "well you can take the drug test but your employer is also requesting a DOT physical". I drove 45 minutes to get there so I went along because it was already after 5pm. So I used the restroom prior to getting there, and when the nurse asked me "Can you do a urine sample right now"? I told her "not at the moment" so she gave me a bottle of water and I grabbed some gummies for my kid. While we were waiting for my bladder to be full, the nurse went ahead with the exam. Normal testing like blood pressure, weight, height but then she took measurements of my neck. I thought that was new and odd to take measurements of my neck. I finally got my urine samples done. came back to the room and the doctor was waiting on me. He then went over eveything and asked "have you ever had a sleep apnea test"? I responded "no". He then said "i will explain it." He stated "the most common cause of driver running off the road is falling asleep while driving". He continued "it is becoming a more common thing for drivers to get sleep studies done and the cost is cheaper, It used to be 7000 and 1 month in a facility". my eyes grew wide because how was i supposed to do that. He then told "Now they have devices you can take home and your insurance more than likely will cover it" He also said " Im going to give you med card, so that you can start work but its only going to be good for 4 months". (my med card was still good until May 15 2024) But he then said "if i wanted to get a 2 year card I have to get a sleep study because my BMI is high". He handed me a work order "prescription" sheet; as he put it, for sleep studies, HANDWRITTEN. Then he handed me a list of phone numbers to call MYSELF. Typically your doctor refers you out and someone calls you but hey, this is "fairly new" with DOT as he put it. At the time I was unaware that requesting this study was based on the Doctors "judgment". I did my research over the weekend and found out most drivers are happy they got the studies done because they suffered from lack of sleep, and other complications like heart, high blood pressure, and many other issues. Other drivers lost their license or pre-employment opportunity. I however don't have any sleep issues at the moment and I stated that to him. He then stated "many people don't know". I know my boyfriend has this issue because he stops breathing in his sleep for more than 3 to 4 seconds or wakes up choking/coughing. He doesn't want to get treatment for it and I keep urging him to get monitored while sleeping. So that following monday, I called around to some of the numbers the doctor gave me. They were saying 180.00 for the take home device. I then called Concentra because that is ridiculous and told them that my insurance is not going to pay and Concentra said "try going through your family physician" and I thought this was so odd. "I told them, I tried that and my doctor asked why and it may not be covered because that is not something they are requesting" I also complain to concentra that "i shouldn't have to call around." I said "yall should have a referral system in place if you all are going to mandate this sleep apnea test that is not even DOT required by law." They told me it's up to the doctor and I have to maintain a DOT med card", which made me very upset because it meant i need to do as the doctor says, or i won't get my 2 year card. I told theM "I know, and that isn't right.. most american are fat and I didnt even fail the neck test nor the blood pressure test which is what DOT revised in their handbook that would be grounds for a sleep apnea test, if the driver was to fail all three or had an accident related to the sleep or if they complain they still feel tired after sleeping... and i did no such thing". The Nurse transferred me to the doctor and i stated all of this to her as well and she told me, I have to get it done in order to get my med card extended" which is BS I then asked for a corporate number and she gave me the number off google. I called a few numbers offline and they all went to voicemail. So I then called the company I am trying to work for and he informed me that it was only supposed to be a drug test. He told me they leave it up to the drivers to renew their med card. I told him concentra told me to take a physical because you (the employer) requested one as well. I asked him if I could go to a doctor's care and he said you can go wherever you want for that. This place seems like a SCAM. read more

Talking about me right in front of my face basically. My patient care tech was reprimanded because she took me before my time. The front staff were mad she accommodated me. This Urgent Care is filled with unintelligent workers. They shredded my documents in front of my face because I was self pay. The workers are rude and do not care about you or your health. I know nurses are healthcare workers are overworked but I have encountered nicer and more intelligent individuals who work in healthcare and have not slept in days. This place is horrible. I've been to other places to have a drug test done and have never waited more that 15-20 minutes. OMG they are slow. I had to wait 2 hours but then I left to go to a meeting. Came back after my meeting and still waiting another 2 hours. That was crazy. I would never recommend this place for an easy peasy drug screen. They were very professional and friendly. I can say that they told me that most drug screenings are prioritized so they would be able to get people and out. Guess what?! I came here after an accident in my work vehicle, some idiot rear ended me going 30 and I at a dead stop@ I26 and Ashley Phosphate road. Of course my company requires pee test and an exam so they chose here for me. I was a little apprehensive about this place given the location ect...( no not because of the test) but I was pleasantly surprised by the level of professionalism and caring. The staff is wonderful as are the Dr's, this facility is very new and modern. If you are without insurance it is $150 for the initial visit. Of course if you are a "company man" they pay lol. I believe they take most other insurance. This is great if you are from out of state and have a med emergency while on vacation or like me workers comp/ company policy. read more

I went in for a injury. My overall experience turned out well. But the front desk staff is unwelcoming when you come in. And very very rude! I almost thought about leaving and going elsewhere. But I decided to sit it out. Glad I did! Once I got to the back everyone was great! They all were super friendly and the dr was very through. They did there best to get me in and out as fast as possible but with good care and didn't just make me feel like just a number. The doctor had no idea what was going on with my foot (the main complaint). I went in on 1/20/20 for an injury to my right forearm an elbow that happened from work. I got there at 4 an left at 530 so I didnt mind the wait but when I was seen by the Dr. On duty it was as if they just wanna get you in an out. I told him that when I use my arms to lifts an have to use my fingers I geta burning an sharp pain in my elbow like in the area or the tendons or ligaments so he did a little test an said you have tennis elbow. Next he said let me send u for an xray where I understand that rules out fracture or breaks stuff like that so they came back an he said that all was good but my pain an burning is still in My forearm so he gave me a compression sleeve told me to put ice on it an said I'm ok to go back to work on light duty. I say this because nothing was done to check my tendons or ligaments to make sure I didnt have anything going on with those things an here it is the next day an I'm still experiencing the same problems like I feel that these place an jobs work together just so they can say we saw him an that is it because they have to but there is no real care for the person so at this point I will go see my Dr. who does care about my pain an want to help rather than give me a ice pack an a note saying he is ok to come back on light duty a total waste of time thanks alot Concentra read more

Just for a simply drug test. People who showed up way after me have been helped yet I sit and wait for something very simple. The people behind the desk seem so uncoordinated. I went to Concentra to get my titers done for school. However, not only was the wait very VERY long, they were horrible! The front desk people were very rude and careless. After waiting very long, I was taken to the back by someone in the front desk. They poked and wiggled the needle inside my arms a lot, 3 TIMES, on both arms, before they quit and called someone else. Which, by then, it was too late and the other person just came in, looked at my arms, and said I would have to come back next time. Not only that, but when we came out of the back and into the front/waiting area, the lady who pocked me MULTIPLE times ROLLED HER EYES. Like whatt? I'm sorry you couldn't find my veins when I've donated blood before and they got in on their first try. So I basically stayed in that nasty place for like 3 hours just to get poked multiple times and sent away to come back next time. In total, I got poked 5 times at that place just to get my blood titers done. Never going back there again. read more

This place is a joke, I was going here for the longest when it was called Patient One. Now they have changed the name. The ladies at the front are great, as are most of the staff. I used to use one doctor here, who has since jumped ship, so I decided that's fine...let's use whoever is here. The lady doc comes in and is very short with me. I tell her I am only her to refill my meds and be on my way. She decides to not look into my problems, but tells me no. I don't need these meds, and that they would make my head crazy... I tell her to look at my records it's what I have been on for the longest and it has been the only thing working great, thanks to Dr.Tunney. So she sends me on my way... The lady was rude as could be, so I left with nothing... Just today I went back bc a severe episode at work, same story, the previous doc was fired... I said thank goodness! The new doctor, she tells me I just need a therapist, and she isn't gonna do anything for me. I tell her she is ridiculous and walk out, then ask for a refund... The "director of operations" says nope.. That's what u paid for a doctors advice... So needless to say I am writing corporate. Avoid this place! read more

Then Told me to go down stairs because she was takeing someone info..its called renovating... to expand and get offices. Who cares im not worried about hearing someones info. Let me sit with the person i came with. And one day there was no one in there but us and they told me to go down stairs but next visit there was a lot of people in there and they said it was full up here and to go downstairs .so why in the hell did i have to go away the first visit?
