They have studied the ER experience from the patients perspective and have managed to create an environment and overall experience that tailors to the patients needs and promotes wellness physically, mentally and emotionally. Every detail is so intentional from the waiting room that looks like a hotel resort guest check-in lobby to the food and drinks they provide if you're hungry. There were Patient Advocates that made rounds about every half hour to see if we needed anything. They passed around dinner plates, dessert, wellness juice shots and even provided me with a Hospitality Health ER blanket to take home. Not to mention upon discharge they provided me with a parting gift! The staff were prompt to take us right away into a room and immediately began to start my workup. There was no wait, which is unheard of for an ER visit. All the staff were so warm, compassionate and accomidating. WOW they really knocked it out of the park and I'm beyond impressed. Having just moved from CA I am seeing that "southern hospitality" really is a thing and the care you recieve here is true to it's name! This is definitely the only ER I would ever visit from now on.

You will not find a kinder and more caring staff than TCC. We live in the area, and unfortunately I am severely immunocompromised. We never have walked in when we were met with anyone who was anything less than amazing, kind, and willing to help resolve whatever was going on until I could see my PCP. They have even gone so far as to call my Dallas neurologist. 10,000 stars for this amazing team! We love Dr. Ro, Dr. McD, and everyone else! Do not go anywhere else!!!!! You will not be able to submit any records of your treatment to your insurance company because they will not give you any. They will charge you hundreds and hundreds if not thousands of dollars for a couple of hours of "treatment" and then refuse to give you any record of it. When your insurance company states that your treatment would indeed be covered if a patient submits records, this outfit upon insistence will send you only an "encrypted" message that supposedly contains the records, however you will be unable to open the message DESPITE MULTIPLE ATTEMPTS and will thus have no idea what it says. This is clearly an attempt to obscure whatever so-called "treatment" was rendered and is nothing but a cover-their-asses tactic. I have never encountered such disgraceful, appalling, shameful business ethics or a more hateful business operation in my many decades of life. STAY FAR FAR AWAY.

We chose exceptional emergency center due to their ratings and reviews. First thing in the door, after reading the mask required sign the receptionist was not wearing a mask. There was no waiting and I was taken back to a room super quick. I had several tests done while I was there to try and determine the issue I was having. I carefully answered questions in order to receive the best possible care. I never saw a doctor. The advertisement on television says every patient sees a doctor. This is false. I called the next day feb 2nd (Wednesday) to ask that my chart be faxed to my primary physician back home. I called back on Friday to ask that my chart be faxed to the specialist I was to see back home. As of Friday afternoon, the office staff at the specialist called to tell me she never received any fax. (I was still recovering in a hotel room in Tyler) I called exceptional emergency center and inquired and the woman told me she had not faxed anything for me, as she did not know how to print a medical record, and she did not know how to use the fax machine. Not sure why she was working in an office if she didn't know basic printing and faxing. My partner drove over retrieved the files directly from the center, and then faxed them at kinkos/fedex across the street for 35 dollars. Also in doing so, we noticed the chart had many mistakes that weren't minor pieces of information. I was hoping to receive some feedback from my physician back home on whether I should seek further medical treatment in Tyler or if I should go ahead and drive the 8 hours back home. I would never recommend this center.

The nurse that was giving medication in the mornings, during the week, did not give me all the doctor prescribed medication. I asked to see a medical doctor for some issues, that needed to be taken care of before the issues got serious, I was lied to for 4 days, and denied medical care. The floor nurse at the same time frame, lied to me as well. The othet patients their were complaining about the same thing. I have talked to others from 3 months prior, and they were given the same disrespect. The head social worker lied to me more than 3 times. I brought up to him one of the times, and he started yelling at me. I stayed calm the whole time. I checked myself in, and tried to leave. The floor nurse, who I spoke of earlier, said to me that I had to fill out some paperwork, that barely let you put 2 lines, inorder to leave. This was even though I fulfilled the doctor's requirement inorder to leave. This floor nurse told me that the doctor said since I was all in to doing some programs, that was being forsed on me, and changed my mind, that I was a danger to myself or others. This was said even though I expressed more than one concern about the programs. I had made other arrangements, also to see a my medical doctor, and they said I was a danger because I changed my mind. I asked the floor nurse if that was legal. She responded, to the yes or no question that was asked twice, with the phrase, "That's just the way it is." And, she did this with attitude. So, then I asked was it legal or hospital policy. She then replied that it was legal, and gave me more attitude. I was respectful the whole time. They don't even follow their own hospital's policy. The only people their that treated the patients with respect and dignity were the tecks and the people who did group therapy. I've also heard of this sane disrespect, from others, about going to there emergency room, and that was for just medical reasons. If you are thinking of choosing this hospital, I would do what others and myself are doing, and boycott UT Hospital of Tyler.
