Despite clearly having a lot of work ahead of him with other clients' clothes, he willingly took on my hem job with expertise-- I had jeans that required special hemming and pants that were more straightforward-- he could tell me the difference between each garments need and did a great job with both. While in the dressing room, another important garment ripped (my own fault!) and without complaint and without charging me a dime, he fixed the additional piece-- all in thirty minutes. I will now 100% drive the extra half hour for all of my tailoring needs moving forward. He did a great job. Excellent customer care. While I was waiting, lots of clients came in and out picking up pieces and all expressed happiness with their alterations.

I brought a dress to Cherry Creek Custom Tailor for what should have been a simple hem. During the…read morefitting, I tried the dress on and clearly showed them the length I wanted. Unfortunately, the dress was hemmed significantly shorter than requested. Even worse, the hem was done incorrectly. The tailor did not properly measure around the entire dress before cutting, resulting in a hem that is visibly uneven and crooked on the sides and back. Any experienced tailor knows that body shape, garment construction, and fabric can affect how a dress hangs, which is why careful measurements should be taken all the way around before cutting. As the saying goes, "measure seven times, cut once." What was most disappointing was the owner's response. Rather than taking responsibility for the poor workmanship, he became defensive and told me they do not measure all the way around and "just cut." He offered a free hem on a future garment, which was not an acceptable solution given that this dress was permanently damaged. I would never trust them with another piece of clothing. A proper resolution would have been a full refund for the alteration and compensation for the dress that was ruined. Instead, I was met with excuses, an aggressive attitude, and a refusal to acknowledge obvious mistakes. I chose to support a local business instead of taking the dress to Nordstrom, where I've had amazing alterations. Unfortunately, that decision turned out to be a costly mistake.

Should he have found any urine or like material on the curtains, why did he not reach out to me? he worked for over 5 weeks with the items. 3. He is lying, he did not deliver on time. I inquired regarding several matters: the additional fee for reinstallation (despite prior payment), the urine issue (never mentioned until the day before), and the debris charge (given my offer to handle it). 5. I said: "I will add this type of practice to your review, so people won't go blindsided to your services". I paid the extra charges, and as soon as I paid, He send me an angry text saying " I will leave the items at the door of your building". He had no idea if i was there or not. He did not care just to leave plastic bags outside the building. One more time: he waited till I paid his extras, and then he left the items outside the building. The total I was quoted to pay was around $750 to $800 so, as you can see this was not a cheap job that i was having done. I dealt with Jesse specifically. To say the least, this was a traumatizing experience. After asking questions about additional charges that were dropped on me, he proceeded to attack me regarding the fee's; he accused me of being difficult to work with, lashing out at me over text messages and adding fake fee's to my bill, including pet feces clean up. I am unsure where she got this notion. The job was supposed to be measurements, creation and hanging the new curtains. Once I started to question these phantom charges, he sent me a message basically saying I did not read the terms. Yes, there were terms, but he was lying about the fee's she was adding to my invoice. I begged him to honor our original quote, but she was not giving in. I told himthat I would write him a bad review and his response was that since i was going to leave a bad review, he did not have to commit to our agreement. Guess what? My curtains were left in front of my apartment building, on the curb in TRASH BAGS. And just so everyone knows, I paid the invoice in full despite the traumatizing experience he placed upon me.
