Immediately after sitting down, I realized that I was in the right place. I felt so touched and inspired, and encouraged to explore my spirituality and connection to God beyond the confines of a Sunday morning. As Christian churches go, they have their religious tenants that tend to put them in the "conservative" camp, but as far as churches go, I do believe that this one is fairly progressive and accepting. Things to expect: messages concretely tied into real life, excellently performed contemporary music - some of it original, overhead presentation of what's occurring on the main stage so everyone can see, occasional use of videotaped messages when the pastor is traveling, coffee before the service and donuts after, and kind people all around.

We have served in Student Ministry and at various events, and these people have become family. My two young boys love the kids ministry and the resources they provide to stay engaged during the week. So thankful for the army of volunteers and their leaders who pour into my kids every week. The word of God is preached from the stage, and sermons are rooted in scripture and a desire to challenge you to spiritual growth. That's perhaps my favorite part of my church, I'm not the same person who walked through the doors five years ago and I am so glad. I have formed meaningful relationships and received teaching that points to Jesus at every turn.

Although newly married and without kids, we were excited about their Christian School. Since then we have had 3 children who have gone through the school and now on to Lutheran Colleges. This church has an amazing youth ministry for all ages. We have been blessed to serve in different areas through the years. This is a special church and school, filled with amazing people!
