After several attempts going elsewhere, we called this facility and got on the schedule within a few days. Detailing with trauma and anxiety isn't easy, but they accommodated without trouble. WHG is a beautiful facility located off Tallmadge circle. Extremely clean, ample parking, massive waiting area and friendly staff. Came in for a yearly tuneup and maintenance check and was very pleasantly surprised. Dr.Smelcer was extremely friendly, completed my PAP lickity split with absolutely no pain and wasn't afraid to answer my questions. If he didn't know an answer or wasn't confident in the area of discussion? He wasn't afraid to say it instead of blowing smoke! LOVE THAT! Definitely will be coming back here and will be recommending for sure! 4.5 stars indeed.

He also insisted I get this test which none of the nurses knew how to administer. I was poked and prodded then told the results were unable to read. Probably due to ineptitude, which I then was harassed about coming back to re-take as they had already submitted it to my insurance! So back again for more torture, this time when they couldn't find my vein to take blood. Now, they are harassing me about a $100 balance after my insurance has already paid thousands. My primary reluctantly complied and I was referred to Dr Lavery after seeing Dr Kelly. She sent me to Darla Schwab at Aultman North. After my first visit I was not feeling like things would go well. She did her assessment, did some therapy that really helped, but then said, "do these stretches and exercises and I'll see you in a month". A month!? After a few days my 20 year plus symptoms that three major hospitals had given up on after years of treatment at each started to subside. She is so busy that you will need to wait. and, take what she says seriously because she really does know her field like few others. I've always been happy with Aultman Dover therapy site, but if you have pelvic floor symptoms, male or female, it's worth the wait to finally be able to have something near a normal life. After a year I'm down to only seeing her for flare ups. And, now, since she is a PTD, she offers dry needling to help as well. Amen, a long time prayer has been answered.

The desk staff women, one called Linnae-uh, are gossipy and rude. Their cattiness and hostility over the phone was very off-putting. I actually saw them in the office rolling their eyes, making annoyed gestures, and loudly sighing at another patient over the phone. This is your job, ladies. People call you to try to get relief from pain and suffering, not to screw up your day.
