But I'll save you that novel & instead express my gratefulness at finding a satisfactory doctor at Portage Hills. Unlike its competitors, the atmosphere is inviting- with a soothing view of the woods & pond, a beautiful stone fireplace & a wrap around porch; this place offers a more home-like environment rather than the typical sterile waiting room. Each room is painted a bold color, & although the walls are a little banged up, it was clean & welcoming. Dr. Jackson is the first doctor I've ever interacted with who truly took her time to listen to me & not instantly jump to the overly prescribed anti-depressants that 98% of doctors clearly get cut backs from. She spent roughly an hour with me & clearly explained what she felt was going on with my body & the course of action she wanted to take. She even provided me with a medical book to view that showed the muscles of the body & revealed to me a f*ck up that Cleveland Clinic failed to inform me of (they NEVER told me I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism in 2007!) that could have prevented the issues I'm having now from ever existing. The entire staff there was friendly, you could tell they really care about the overall operation of the practice as they ask you to participate in surveys to make sure proper sanitation techniques are being practiced. If you're fed up with not getting anywhere with your treatment options, I suggest giving Portage Hills a try.

He asked how I've been and I said other than the 10 migraines I've had in the last two months. I'm great. ( never having migraine before)rather than just saying that that's too bad he said lets take a look at this, even though I was not due for x-rays he did a full x-ray and found that I had an infection on a two year-old root canal. after that correction and a round of antibiotics, I have not had a migraine since and I was able to complete a vigorous bike ride from the Ohio river to Lake Erie with a group of boys that I would've had to cancel. I have not had a migraine since. without Dr. Coyle doing his due diligence, I may still be suffering. Please take your dental health seriously as seriously as Dr. Coyle has taken mine. The staff members are friendly and helpful. You get in and out pretty quickly. The waiting room is very comfortable and clean with nice seating, televisions, magazines, outlets for charging phones, laptops, etc. Hand sanitizer and tissues are available as well.
