So glad I did. it was pretty packed when we got ther, we were able to get a high top table after just a few minutes wait. Ordered the beef tartare and schnitzel. Be forewarned, they don't skimp on the portions here. The tartare was delicious and came with a salad and about a half of stick of butter, which was interesting. Schnitzel was big enough to feed at least two people and left me feeling like I had finally experienced a real local meal. Wine was also great and made me wish I could have stayed there drinking it all night. But alas, I had an early flight to catch the next day...

Quite tight seating. Restrooms are not accessible by people with limited mobility. No baby changing stations. The food is okay. The schnitzel was fine and so was lamb. Okay to eat but not memorable. My husband had a potato soup that included mushrooms and he was pretty much freaking out about his soup as much as I was (in his own, subdued, calm manner....opposite mine!). We split the massive and simply prepared veal weinerschnitzel with the lemon wedge squeezing the only and perfect seasoning you need for this deliciousness in front of you. Must be the European life that is used to a 2 hour plus dinner, as we found 1.5 plenty of time! Their signature is potato dishes, proven by the many potato related pictures and sculptures (even the bathroom!) around the restaurant. We went with the special of the month - salmon with zucchini noodles and a blood sausage hash. What appeared were two mountains of food that we thought no way we could finish. We clearly underestimated our power in front of tasty food as before we realized, we had polished off most of the dishes. Cooked superbly with potatoes crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, we loved every bite.
