No idea what I ordered here, but it was good!

Wonderful authentic Vienna restaurant. I believe it is one of the oldest in Vienna. Very nice patio and inside is like in a movie! We came for lunch on the patio (with no reservations, no problem) and came back for dinner (and made a reservation). The schnitzel was delicious and huge, the wild boar was good/authentic and the steak tartare was excellent. You just have to remember that unlike North America, they are not trying to rush you. Dining is laid back and you can stay and enjoy the ambiance.

Amazing food, excellent service. Would love to return here next summer PS must have apple strudel with ice cream!

Came to Gmoa Keller one night for a late dinner at around 9:30. It was conveniently located right by our hotel, the Hotel AM Konzerthaus. Since I wasn't that hungry, I went with the small beef goulash, and it was enough. I wasn't a huge fan of it as the beef was a bit tough. I tried a piece of my friend's dish, the schnitzel and that was a much better choice. Tip - try a glass of the zweigelt (Austrian red wine). It goes down very smoothly.

The service was very fast and I was pleasantly surprised with the Viennese schnitzel of veal and potato salad. I wish I could try more on the menu!

Based upon an Austrian citizens recommendation, we tried game Keller for dinner on a Monday evening. At 6:00pm, without a reservation, we were able to get a table....but, all the other tables were either taken or reserved. Menu given to us was in German; my wife asked for an English menu and it was presented quickly. Food was good; I had Weimer Schnitzel (I.e., filled the entire plate), my wife had schnitzel nature. With two entries, two glasses of wine, bottle of still water and a shared Appel strudel, the bill was fifty euros. Good vale for money. For a cold evening during the Christmas season in Vienna, Gmoa Keller was a very welcoming and warm place to be.

Signature dish of the restaurant and the city: Schnitzel.

Great place right next to the Vienna Concert House, perfect for dinner after an event. Typical Viennese dishes - great taste!

If you're not Caucasian or Austrian and do not have any reservation, you will be turned away. I wouldn't waste money on this establishment.

Found this cozy spot a few blocks off the Stadtpark and figured I'd give it a shot. So glad I did. it was pretty packed when we got ther, we were able to get a high top table after just a few minutes wait. Ordered the beef tartare and schnitzel. Be forewarned, they don't skimp on the portions here. The tartare was delicious and came with a salad and about a half of stick of butter, which was interesting. Schnitzel was big enough to feed at least two people and left me feeling like I had finally experienced a real local meal. Wine was also great and made me wish I could have stayed there drinking it all night. But alas, I had an early flight to catch the next day...

Quite tight seating. Restrooms are not accessible by people with limited mobility. No baby changing stations. The food is okay. The schnitzel was fine and so was lamb. Okay to eat but not memorable. Caprese salad was tasty. In conclusion, if you are passing by and hungry, feel free to stop by. If you are looking for a memorable lunch/dinner experience, plan to visit a different establishment.

Menus and bread serving arrived. $4.80 per person. Oh well. We decided to share and we selected the white asparagus with a tomato and egg relish with a vinaigrette and an Order of Wiener Schnitzel with potato salad and lingonberries. Our food arrived very quick. Both dishes quite good. Not the best we have experienced in Vienna and not the worst. - Wiener Schnitzel: best one of the week. It was thin as it should be and not greasy at all. Wish it had been cooked with a little seasoning. Salt and fresh lemon solved that problem. 4/5 - Potato Salad: excellent. Almost addictive. Loved the fresh mache and pumpkin seed oil on it. 5/5 - Cranberry Sauce: or as I call it lingonberry sauce. Average. Tasted like out of a jar. But good. 4/5 - White Asparagus: served with a tomato herb vinaigrette with chopped egg. Wish the asparagus had been served warm then topped with the vinaigrette. Would made the dish pop. Very good. 4/5 - Atmosphere: Outside was glorious. Area was spacious. 5/5 - Service: waiter was abrupt and would disappear for lengthy times. Must have been really busy inside. 3/5 - Value: somewhat overpriced. Think the mandatory $4.80 bread service per person put it over the top. I expected outstanding bread and got a very small serving of bread and a pad of butter with a couple of tablespoons of a herb mixture.
