Today there was a historical educational component to learn about the history of America - the foundational history component was enjoyable 2. It was extremely cold and I am very shocked the turn of emotions by Rebecca's demeanor. After reading other comments that are similar - I'm dropping my review from 5 stars to 1. Before you try this church please read the other comments on how this church will not help you in your time of need. 5/5 sermon but I won't be coming back... good luck Rebecca. ------------- The message finally came to me. Rebecca's "we do not do that here" translates to "we do not help people". Very obvious and relevant based on the negative reviews. It's shameful. However, if you are reading this review and you have not attended any churches - I would still encourage you to visit it to learn about Jesus if it's your only resort. I like that the services are both the same and that you have the ability to go to whichever is the most convenient for you. From the first visit, I felt welcomed and found a good community right away. The band rocks! They have a really good worship team with lots of instruments and singers. Van Beek who recently passed away this year. She wrote a fabulous book named: Flory ... Survival in the Valley of Death Holocaust 1940-1945. (when I read this book, I couldn't put it down until it was finished!) acutally two days i read off and on until i completed it. It was on edge every moment and I feel like I wish so many more people would read it too. In Flory's memory, I would hope some people would help out for her temple is having extreme financial difficulties. It was her husband and her's greatest wish to help to keep the Jewish people together when the Holocaust was over. They vowed to do this if they ever did anything. They are literally the type of people to give you the clothes of their backs and the food from their table. They run the largest volunteer program in Orange County for children with special needs and their families through the friendship circle, offer uplifting services Saturday morning on Shabbas, and all Jewish Holidays. Have recently added a Monday morning 7:30AM service to start your week with positive energy as well. I cannot recommend them and this place enough.
