I was deeply invested and invited many family and friends to join. Sadly, my experience eventually became one of hurt and disillusionment. ​In 2020, during the Rooted program, a confrontation occurred where I reacted in anger to disturbing language from another attendee. I am transparent about my mistake; I used profanity and I own that. However, leadership focused solely on my reaction while ignoring the context of my life: I was currently navigating a divorce, the death of my brother, a job loss, and a traumatic physical attack that left my hand severely injured. Not one person from the church visited me during my hospitalization. Under the leadership of Connie Surratt and Autumn Igo, my serving privileges were removed, then quietly restricted even after being "reinstated." I felt intentionally hidden and denied any real pastoral care despite my attempts to engage. ​Two Easters ago, I was accused by security of yelling at someone at the altar. This was entirely false I was actually greeting longtime friends from my Bible study. This culminated in a scene where a leader (Gwen) physically grabbed my arms and verbally assaulted me in the parking lot, witnessed by other volunteers (Dean and Janet). Despite it being proven that the accusations against me were false, no apology was ever offered. I remained "on penance," feeling like a child walking on eggshells with angry parents. The breaking point was the treatment of the vulnerable. On a day we were taught about helping the community, I saw a pregnant woman with children being surrounded by security and recorded by staff. When I asked to help and feed her, I was told she was being removed at the instruction of Autumn. I later found the woman around the corner in tears; she asked if she could pray for me. It was heartbreaking. This, alongside a later incident where a man from the church harassed me at a post office for "trying to buy my way into heaven" by helping another woman with diapers, showed a distorted view of mercy within the culture. ​Three weeks ago, I was approached by Autumn and Daryl after a service. Despite my request for witnesses, Autumn made serious, false accusations of verbal and physical abuse against me in front of my friends. I was told to leave and never return under threat of police involvement. This felt like a coordinated attempt to discredit me and separate me from the community I love. ​Since leaving, I've met many others with strikingly similar stories. If my full story had been heard openly rather than discussed behind closed doors, I believe I would have been met with understanding. Instead, I felt watched rather than shepherded, and defined by assumptions instead of relationship. ​I am not perfect, but what I experienced was not restoration it was control and image management. I am grateful for the hundreds of kind individuals in the congregation who reflect Christ; they are the reason I stayed so long. I pray for accountability at Seacoast Grace. Revelation reveals the heart of a church, and I speak this truth with love for those who have been pushed away like me.

After being here for over five months, my update is that the teaching is way too safe in that "we…read moredon't wanna offend anybody" sort of attitude, even if it means teaching about the eternal separation from God as a consequence of ignoring the Messiah, from my observation and humble opinion. Kathy, the woman who head the children's ministry has left, and she was one of the unique outstanding parts of the church for kids and she had been there for a little over two years. What a loss, oh well. Everyone is real friendly, but if you "Don't wanna ever get offended" about your sins and how you could and should become a better and more righteous follower of the Messiah, you may want to check this place out. It's a pretty safe church service for anyone, from any lifestyle to attend.

It was made easy by the large screen with all of the lyrics . My voice was cracking but I carried on. The small band was just right and did not miss a beat. Would not mattered if the had. The entire room was filled for the early service. We were handed a candle to be lit at the final portion of the celebration . I enjoyed myself and felt good about being in a setting with people from the community who shared in the Christmas Spirit. The Pastor was articulate and funny. A likable gent . I plan to attend again. It was not about who you are, where you are from or what you do ..,as the sign out in front reads. ALL WELCOME !!! Beautiful .

On Sundays there are two services taught by the fun loving and warmhearted Pastor John. The first service begins at 9 AM and is a more traditional style with hymns. For the kids, there are different Sunday School Classes for elementary, junior high, and high school ages. At 10 AM, the service ends and there is time for the congregation to mingle and get coffee or sweets from the youth bake sale. The second service begins at 10:30 AM and is intended to be a more contemporary style of church service. This works out better for the younger crowd who value sleeping in. Throughout the week there are tons of activities going on including a variety of Bible studies and opportunities for local missions (Sandwich Ministry for the homeless, Women's Sewing Group for the military etc.). There are also several random events throughout the year like the Church Picnic, Concerts, Movie Nights, Board Game Socials, and more! Although I love this church as a whole, my heart particularly lies with the youth program called THE HAVEN. (Meets on Thursdays 4 - 9PM) Most of the kids who attend this noticeably diverse group are from around the neighborhood and have been regularly attending for some time now. Especially in the last two years, I've noticed these kids have really developed a heart for missions and are every day getting more involved with the church family. I would highly recommend this youth program for kids who are having a hard time fitting into other church youth groups. Many of the youth who get involved with THE HAVEN have commented there are no cliques here and that there is a real sense of family between them. I assure you; by coming to this church you will see what I'm talking about. Come to any of the services, Bible studies, or events you can find on the church's website. These are definitely people you want to meet and you will for sure be welcomed here!

Life Christian Church has been my regular church I have been attending, for a number of years now…read more Pastor Shane is so incredibly knowledgeable of the Bible, and his sermons are preached in a way where you could really understand, and comprehend the different passages he utilizes from the Bible in each lesson. He uses real world, current scenarios, that help in demonstrating the relation of what was happening in that time, and how it translates to what people may be experiencing now. The people attending this church, are super friendly, and non-judgemental. It has a great, diverse atmosphere. They have a children's and young adults ministry, and various Bible studies are held throughout the week. I call it my home church for a reason, because it truly feels like home. This is a perfect Christian Church, and even for people who truly just have a desire to learn more about Jesus, I highly recommend it. You will always feel welcome.

They refuse to compromise with the false teachings of this world or to those with itching ears who seek to justify unrepentant sin. The people here are genuinely friendly -- whether in community gatherings, support groups, or classes. There are also designated volunteers ready to pray with you. Several months ago I suffered a severe sciatica attack and could barely put weight on my right leg. One woman noticed my pain as I slowly made my way into church and prayed for me, and others did the same on different occasions. Today I am in great shape, and I'm grateful for the care and prayer I received.
