So you'll know where I am going with this review. A neighbour wanted to go here and check out the church. Great! Friendly, kind people. But when the music started, it was too loud. Over 80 dB. I turned my aids off and turned them into ear plugs and went to the foyer. 70 dB was better than 80 dB. I needed to protect my hearing. I sat in the foyer till the end of the service, until my friend returned. We were inured. The people were super, but the sound level was too uncomfortable. We found it odd that the did not have any flyers or bulletins. Sadly, we will not return. Reposted.

Over the years I've made the resolution to read the bible more. Usually I make it to February…read morebefore I give up. Last year I got smart and started a bible study. This year I'm doing two bible studies. One is held at El Camino Baptist Church. The Bible study is organized by Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) and is non-denominational. I think it's cool the church lets us meet in their fellowship hall and meeting rooms. I remember growing up in a Baptist church being told that if people didn't serve God the way our church said, they were going to hell. I didn't believe it then and I still don't. I'm happy to see this shining example of God's love in my life. In addition to letting BSF use the facilities, they offer social assistance to those in need. I believe that is what churches are called to do.
