It's inspiring and it feels relatable. The musicians are great and it has in between for the non Hebrew learners. It's recommended to donate items. I'm already thinking about the high holy days it's so great. It's like they care and want you to come back. They have a schedule for Fridays and Saturday plus events.

We are blessed to have had him with us for many years for this particular service. There are always activities going on, Rabbi Didi personally helps each child with their bar/bat mitzvah with a lot of 1-on-1 and guides families thru the process. WE LOVE EMET!

Services start at 10 a.m. on Saturday and end at about 12:15 pm. Rabbi Yitzi Magalnic has been the officiating Rabbi for 25 years. The Cantor has a beautiful voice which takes you back to the old days. The Gabi keeps the service moving at a rapid pace. Prayer books are in both Hebrew and English. Sunday service starts at 9:00 a.m. and a small meal is provided. Torah classes are on Thursdays. Courses are taught quarterly. Children programs are available for the young. Women's yoga class is also available. P.S. There are no dues.

The facility was always clean and welcoming, with classrooms full of engaging, age-appropriate toys and materials. My daughter especially loved the dress up costumes area. The outdoor play area was another favorite, offering plenty of space for exploration and physical activity. The kiddos would come home thoroughly tuckered out from all the running around and fun. I can't recommend the preschool highly enough. It's been a cornerstone of our children's early years, and we're so grateful to still be a part of the community as our kids grow. Great community that is really expanding its service. My kids have gone to school for years until…read morethey closed it & been part of community for 17+ years. Sadly, we moved recently & frequent several synsngogues, but have yet to find one that fits like Chabad of South Bay. We still go there for holidays & special events. Hard not to. Always welcoming, lots of special events for families, kids & adults. It's a Chabad so no membership/fees for coming. They just want you to come. This is how it should be. Chabad of Marina del Rey is another good choice if on the Westside. We sometimes go there & my daughter is in their after school program. Very nice too. Still Rabbi Pinson really makes Chabad of SB what it is today. Rabbi Hecht built a solid foundation & community & Rabbi Pinson expanded on it. Also The Gottliebs are a huge part of this wonderful community. Between teaching school Sunday & regular plus doing Kids in Action, I can't imagine it without them. They helped form my kids to what they are today.

Many of our closest family friendships started through the school, and there is such a warm, welcoming sense of community among the families. The playground is amazing with so much space for the kids to run, play, and explore. We also really appreciate the constant updates and communication from the school, which makes parents feel connected and informed. Before Tuvia, we had him in another local preschool that looked beautiful on the surface but something just wasn't right. He cried and clung to us at drop-off every single day for an entire year. He genuinely looked forward to going and even told us how much happier he was compared to his old school. The program itself is fantastic. Parents receive regular updates and photos through an app, which we really appreciated. It feels like a true school experience, with structured activities like PE, music, and even performances that the kids participate in. They also do a lot of hands-on activities--like mixing and baking their own muffins and cookies--which is possible because they have their own kitchen. It's those little touches that really stand out. What truly sets Tuvia apart, though, is the teachers. They are incredibly attentive, warm, and genuinely invested in the kids. It never feels like they're just supervising. They truly care. One of our initial concerns was whether we would fit in since we're not Jewish, but that quickly disappeared.
