Would highly recommend Conley's for any clipper work-- excellent haircut from Walt! My girlfriend and I are here from upstate NY on vacation and did not know of any barber places in the Hollywood area. As soon as we walked inside Conley's we were impressed with seeing Walt's work with the clippers on another customer-- he gave a very sophisticated style. I was a little skeptical at first because when I called they said a woman would be cutting my hair. Not being rude but it's rare to get a good fade from a woman in a male barber shop. When I went to my surprise all the barbers knew what they were doing. I've been getting fades since I was about 14. This place is my new favorite for my haircut. The worst experience I've ever had. After deciding to get rid of my beard, I called this barber after reading the good reviews. They told me that they were experienced at straight cut, Hot towel men's shave, so I stopped by today. Either this barber didn't know what she was doing or was strung out on something, because I ended up with both half a dozen cuts on my face and not even a close shave. At the end she even gave up on the straight razor to opt for safety razor. The haircut was adequate but why go to a barber for shave when I can do a better job at home? read more

Wish I had the amazing experience everyone else had. Had an appt that I called in and made. The lady was rushing and didn't collect any information from me, just breezed through everything she said over the phone. When I walked in no one asked who I was, and had me sit there 20 minutes past the time I was supposed to get cut, 10 minutes before closing. Great hair cut from Dave, listened to what I wanted and took his time to get it right. The shop has moved to a new (easier to find) location across the street from Target. Now located between Einsteins Bagels and Big Louie's Pizza at 370 North Park, just north of Hollywood Blvd. Being open seven days a week on my schedule and coming up from North Miami is a big help and worth the drive. You're in and out, at a fair price, with a great cut - for that I don't mind tipping up to the stylist - nice job Conley's Barber Shop team. read more

I can't begin to describe what a fantastic hair stylist Jeff Conley is. He has cut my hair for over 7 years and each time I leave people give me rave reviews about my hair. Jeff has an incredible personality and has mastered the art of hair styling. In addition, he will tailor your cut to your particular needs, wants and desires. Once you utilize his services, you will never go back to another stylist. As others have mentioned, his shop is a little difficult to find. There is a sign just south of the Publix on Park Rd. which directs you to his location at the entrance to the mall. As others have also noted, this is a 5 star + establishment. Walt is a great barber! Really takes his time with the cut to insure that the customer is happy and feels at home in this barbershop. Good with a straight razor which is scary in some of these barbershops. Hot towel and shave followed by cold towel was just what I needed. I will def be back. read more
