Still not as good as Red Panda and a few other places in Belfast but darn good locally. I don't know any other Chinese takeaway in the city that comes close to this place as over the years I've seen prices increase unjustifiably year on year with quality nose-diving. It may be a change in staff here I don't know but there's only one thing they need to do now - their prawn crackers are the cheaper product. I visited it today after an absence of a few years and found wall setting around the windows, hence your back is to the park views and the food was substandard. Tired looking display of coleslaw and salads which looked liked it had been there for days and wraps and hard bread rolls. I ordered chips and sausages as it seemed to be the only thing eatable from the menu. It arrived cold, looked like Tesco's preheated sausages and a bowl of skinny chips. Poor quality overpriced food and the general layout of the cafe terrible. Gone are the high-quality food, beautiful views and friendly staff/ I will never be back.

Service here was lax, the seating wasn't comfy, the fish and chips were not as well-cooked and certainly not as crisp, hot and tasty, but the worst of all was that it was almost double the price when we factor in the fact that the Kilkeel deal includes a soft drink. I really dislike being ripped off. The price difference would cover the fuel cost for the extra 24 mile round trip. Far better fish bites, chips and a soft drink was £3 a head cheaper in PitStop Kilkeel. The plates here also had a small amount of salad which was incongruous on the plate given the fact we were eating deep-fried, battered food. If we had ordered a fish and chip meal deal we would have had tea, bread and butter. The addition of these nominal cost tea & bread would have required another fiver a head. In short and sadly it's poor value and it's also below average quality and we will not return. We were also the only sit in diners - quelle surprise.
