I got a vegetarian red curry here and a portion of Thai crackers. The curry portion was generous and the vegetables, including red pepper, peas and carrots were fresh and tasty. I particularly enjoy the tofu and potato. The Thai crackers (£1.5) are far better than Chinese crackers too even though Chinese takeaway tend to provide free crackers with main meal orders. I've also enjoyed hot spicy curries for years, and maybe it's an age thing, but I find their vegetarian curry to be very hot, maybe it's just me and an age thing but I now add a teaspoon of sugar to their curry to help balance the spice - it works up to a point. They have a notice up advising no variation to dishes - perhaps this is to keep their food authentic or maybe to prevent cheaper ingredients being substituted for more expensive ones. The coconut rice too (£2.5) is really flavoursome. In an earlier review of this place I'd noted that the additional food cost of this takeaway tested against main dishes from local Chinese takeaways might harm business. The fact is that while this remains the case, Chinese takeaway prices have since increased, but poor quality, poor tasting Chinese food is still endemic here and the quality and fresh taste of this Thai food is very far ahead by any measure and worth the extra cost and I'll stick with them.

Top class, I uad a juicy lucy burger which is a burger infused with cheese topped with bacon and mickeys house sauce..... Amazing! We all had a taste of each others plates, taco fries are probably the best in Belfast and the philly cheesesteak sandwhich which is also in my picture is just delicious! It has to be many years since I last had a coffee here, as I prefer other places that don't open on Sunday. I also identify its main customer base as the younger generation. I was surprised to find it almost empty on an early Sunday afternoon when my memory was that it was usually full. It's not a big place by any means and currently operates a one way system - one door in and a different door exiting. They are also only serving coffees etc in paper/plastic cups (even Starbucks have locked away the ceramics.) We had three coffees (cappuccino) and an iced drink. The coffees were ace and the service friendly. Our son wasn't impressed by his iced drink - he thought it insipid and watery. The piped music was great, but I must say I found the seating uncomfortable and the furnishings were as jaded as I now feel most days. Next time I want a Sunday afternoon coffee and I'm right next door I'll likely pop in but I'm afraid I do prefer a comfy seat.

It's always busy. They do serve take-out lunches daily and the queues for Sunday lunch around £8 is always long. It brings a lot of employment locally. The car parking is free, the prices at the fuel station are competitive and their off licence has a great range of booze. I go chiefly for their black pepper sauce as it's a great base for me to add my own double cream and cognac when I cook fillet steak. One thing customers need to be mindful of is the heavily discounted products, while many are cheap their sell - by dates are often up and you could be buying something that tastes awful especially diet drinks and crisps that go rancid very fast. They make their own fresh 2 ounce steak burgers about £1 each in the butchery section. They are very good, but for me I still prefer my M&S 5% Aberdeen Angus minced beef for my own beef burgers. He still hasn't installed EV chargers so one has to go across the road to the Damolly Retail Park for that. Oh, speaking of EV charging, it made me laugh to see the Orange buffoon overturn the dignity of the White House to change it into a car showroom for the Muskrat's Swasticar - next they'll both be in a movie The Fast and the Führer. I had always presumed Brothers specialised just in Chinese food but it turns out it's got pretty much a full Asian fusion menu, this was a nice surprise. Having said that, on Saturday night we were feeling particularly fragile and not too adventurous so we opted for dished we knew and loved. We went for Salted chili chicken, honey chili chicken, a portion of rice and a portion of chips. This was easily enough for three full meals with loads left over. Portion sizes are huge. In terms of taste the salted chili chicken was one of the best I've had but the honey chili chicken was a little different, it's flavour was slightly more honey than chili and they sauce was a little rich for my taste. Having said that I ate the whole thing. The whole ordering process was great. We ordered over the phone, but there is the option to order online. Instead of getting delivery I went to collect the food. The shop/kitchen were clean and modern and also well staffed - I think that's why the order was fulfilled so quickly. Overall a really good experience with Brothers. My first time ordering from them, but certainly not my last.

OK, you may think I'm being a bit over the top here, but trust me, and you don't have to take my word for it, you will be overjoyed when you visit, so much so, you won't use anyone else. If you like to cook, chances are you'll have those wee cylinders of herbs and spices bought for a couple of quid each in your larder. Lee Foods do bags of spices at a fraction of the cost. Did you know that chillis freeze really well? I bought a big bag of bird's eye chillis for a quid or thereabouts, I take them out of the cooler to thaw when I need some. Do you have an awesome looking recipe for a Thai salad, or a curry paste, or want to make tamales but you don't know where to get fresh papaya, real turmeric or banana leaves? Lee Foods will have it. It outperforms the major supermarkets in many different ways. More choice, better prices, weird and wonderful stuff you might not have heard of before. There's nowhere else like it in town.

Looking drab from the outside, inside is a bustle of colour and noise, busy with people and packets with labels I couldn't read. After dandering up and down the aisles I finally asked a really lovely girl about the dumpling wrappers. She laughed in a nice way at the idea of me making my own and showed me what she used to make hers (from scratch, the show off) but then took me to the wrappers. Thank goodness she did, I would have been there for weeks. The selection of dried, pickled, canned and fresh goods is astounding. The fruit and veg section puts the big supermarkets to shame in quality and price. This shopping experience was a roaring success. Lets hope my dumplings are too!

I used to shop a bit in the Chinese emporium on George Street in Dublin, because the vegetables were cheaper, fresher and came in bigger portions than in crappy supermarkets. The Asia supermarket looks more like a factory than a place that sells food. The layout, as other reviewers have mentioned is vast and scatty, but if you have your wits about you, you may just come out with something weird and wonderful, and tasty too hopefully! I would recommend getting some seaweed, a big block of Tofu (really good value) or some yummy miso soup. There are also big bags of spices, bags of rice so huge they could kill a man and some great traditional chinese vegetables. A little haven.
