I learned some many cool activities while there. I learned how to ride the unicycle while in Kindergarten, rode the 6" unicycle in the end part of second grade, handstands, jump rope, pulls ups. And because I learned how to do all those things, we had a show called the Ice Cream social. Family and friends would come to watch us perform for them. Great memories while going there for school.

Sister Pat pulled out the yard stick would march us across the street in a single file line into the church for our sentence. Thank the lord for the 7-11 down the street to load up my pockets prior to going to school. After all Lifesavers tasted better then the communion wafer. Holy Family is a nice classic school & church providing Catholic spiritual teachings to the mass's including myself. I think if your a practicing Catholic you'll appreciate coming here. My one true & only blessing coming to school here was seeing the principal was a large endowed Italian lady who ran the school with an iron fist. I mean she was built like the wings of a 1957 for Cadillac DeVille. Needless to say I made it out in one piece but I'll never forget my days at Holy Family. I'm a sinner today but that year was a building block in my life. Someday I'll repent and I may come back for the cleansing of my soul & mind.

I was so inspired by Encarna's beautiful, powerful dancing that I immediately wanted to study Flamenco with her. I've danced for almost my entire life (and teach dance myself) - so I have lots of experience with dance teachers and different teaching styles. I love Encarna's approach to teaching. Her style is very organic, authentic and gentle - while remaining challenging and inspiring. I've never had a teacher who also can sing while we dance - love it! She knows how to encourage students to stretch to their limit - while keeping a supportive and fun attitude. Flamenco is not an easy dance form to pick up - but despite the challenge of it I've always enjoyed Encarna's class tremendously - simply because of her infectious energy. And I'm amazed at how much I've learned in a relatively short time. I've seen Eric and Encarnacion perform countless times, and I'm still left breathless each time. They are both so enormously talented - and are making Seattle a richer place by sharing their gifts and bringing amazing, world-reknown flamenco artists to the area. I highly recommend both of them as performers and teachers. The lead from the sponsoring college introduced him to the class one day as quote " our friend Aryan". Not surprisingly, we had issues such as a parent putting her hands on and interacting with my child in a way I felt was inappropriate. We dropped out of the class and canceled our enrollment for next year. Class is/was having issues keeping students as other families have left as well.
