Life's Journey turned out to be different from the other churches around. I didn't feel like people were putting on a show but that they were genuinely there on Sunday morning to worship God and love on their brother's and sister's in Christ. My preschoolers really enjoy their teachers. The curriculum is based on helping parents to teach their kids about throughout the week. So there is a lot of communication with the parents which I really like. I have also heard very good things about the program for school age children.

I'm not gonna lie, churches somehow always wow you with their design. The older they are, the more…read moregothic like they appear. The more modern they are, they end up being a little more flashy. However, that does not detract from the purpose of what the church is there for. I was in attendance here for a funeral and got a good feel of the place. It is more of a complex than just a church. The chapel portion of this feels very modern, but small. From the outside, it appears to be a big space, but once inside you see it is cut down to allow for other things to fit in, like the foyer, bathrooms, etc. The portion that holds the services is spacious and white, but still feels like it is small in comparison to other churches I have been to. The church people were accommodating for the service. We also used the hall space for after the service. I assume that this is used for everything under the sun. Weddings to gatherings. It is a decent space with lots of natural light. The service of food here was nice. Everything, including drinks, is served to you. Outside there are small places to sit to take in the natural portions outside. Shaded by trees and well maintained. The parking is either on street or in a small lot across the street.

It honors Christ, teaches the Bible, and has a heart to help others discover what following Jesus Christ can mean in our everyday lives. Discovering this church, its pastor, and its people was a big part of my decision to move to this area. I would love for others to discover what I've found by being part of this congregation of Christian believers.
